Join the AWS SMGS Ops Revenue team to own and drive large-scale revenue data programs, including Planning Revenue, Goals, and KTLO. You will influence product roadmaps, align cross-functional teams, and ensure delivery of mission-critical revenue data products used by Finance, Sales Operations, and Compensation. Working with product managers, engineers, and operations, you will define architecture, scope work streams, establish milestones, and drive communication strategies to maintain technical excellence and stakeholder alignment. You will champion scalability, remove bottlenecks, and operate in a fast-paced, global environment to power revenue decision making.

The AWS Sales Marketing Global Services Ops (SMGS Ops) Revenue team publishes mission-critical Sales Revenue data product including, Unified Estimated Revenue, GAAP Sales Revenue, Quota Sales Retirement, and Planning Revenue that power strategic decision-making across AWS Finance, Accounting, Sales Operations, Segmentation Planning & Policy (S&P), Global Sales Compensation, Field Experience, and Data & Analytics teams.
Our platform processes billions of metered usage and billing transactions daily, integrating data from 20+ sources including Salesforce.com to deliver accurate, timely revenue insights that drive quota setting, sales goal management, forecasting, compensation, and business intelligence. We leverage BigData technologies including Elastic Map Reduce (EMR), Spark, Redshift, and Glue and other AWS services to handle massive data volumes at scale.

We're seeking a passionate Technical Program Manager to own and drive large-scale revenue programs including, Planning Revenue, Goals, and KTLO processes that power AWS's global sales operations. You'll influence product roadmaps, align cross-functional teams, and ensure seamless delivery of mission-critical revenue data products used across Finance, Sales Operations, and Compensation teams.
Working closely with product managers, engineers, and operations teams, you'll define architecture, scope work streams, establish milestones, and drive communication strategies. You'll dive deep during design and build phases, ensuring technical excellence while maintaining stakeholder alignment. The ideal candidate combines strong technical acumen with exceptional collaboration skills, global mindset, and relentless customer focus.

Key job responsibilities
• Drive clarity from ambiguity: Navigate complex stakeholder landscapes to align business requirements, technical constraints, and customer needs into actionable roadmaps
• Own end-to-end program delivery: Manage the full lifecycle of cross-functional initiatives with transparency, making smart trade-offs between time, effort, and features while maintaining quality and innovation
• Lead Agile execution: Proficiently manage scrum rituals across multiple pods, ensuring consistent delivery cadence and team alignment
• Build program visibility: Create and maintain artifacts (reports, dashboards that provide builders, product teams, and leadership clear visibility into program and roadmap progress, day-to-day operations, and team dynamics
• Champion technical excellence: Master revenue data products, their architectures, scaling factors, and limitations; influence teams to eliminate dependencies and architectural bottlenecks that hinder innovation or cause operational issues

Basic Qualifications

- 3+ years of technical product or program management experience
- 3+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience
- Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
- Experience working with data and analytics

Preferred Qualifications

- 3+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience
