We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President, Data Governance to join our Data Solutions and Services team. This role is in Lake Mary, FL

In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Data Analyst with expertise in Collibra or related platform to join our Data Governance team. The ideal candidate will support control work, Authoritative Data Sets (ADS) and Data Quality Controls (DQC), data lineage initiatives, review and analyze business and technical requirements, take ownership of deliverables, and manage end-to-end contract execution related to data governance projects. This role requires strong analytical skills, excellent communication, and the ability to collaborate across multiple teams to ensure data quality, compliance, and governance standards are met.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create, manage and update control maps and TSLA dashboards
  • Utilize Collibra to manage and maintain data governance workflows, metadata, and data cataloging.
  • Support the implementation and enhancement of data lineage within Collibra to provide clear visibility into data flow and dependencies.
  • Collaborate with data engineers, architects, and business stakeholders to document and validate data lineage across systems.
  • Analyze and map data movement from source to target systems ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Gather, review, and analyze business and technical requirements related to data governance and lineage projects.
  • Translate requirements into actionable tasks and ensure alignment with organizational data policies.
  • Take full ownership of assigned deliverables, ensuring timely and quality completion.
  • Track progress, identify risks, and proactively communicate status to stakeholders.
  • Manage end-to-end contract execution processes related to data governance initiatives, including team coordination, compliance checks, and documentation.
  • Ensure contractual obligations are met and escalate issues as necessary.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams including IT, legal, compliance, and business units to support data governance objectives.
  • Prepare and present reports, dashboards, and documentation to stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Actuarial Science, Finance, Economics, Math/Statistics, or a related field or the equivalent combination of education and experience required.
  • Typically, 3-7 years of experience. Proven experience working with Collibra or similar data governance platforms.
  • Strong understanding of data lineage concepts and metadata management.
  • Experience in requirement gathering, analysis, and documentation.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage deliverables and take ownership of projects.
  • Familiarity with contract management and execution processes is a plus.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills:

  • Knowledge of SQL, data modeling, and ETL processes.
  • Experience with data quality tools and frameworks.
  • Understanding of regulatory requirements related to data governance (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).
  • Project management experience or certifications (e.g., PMP, Agile) would be an additional skill.
