We are seeking a highly skilled Data Architect - Cloud to design and implement cloud-based data infrastructure for analytics, ML, and reporting. Lead data pipelines (ELT/ETL) using Databricks, Spark and other big data tools, optimize cloud-native platforms like Snowflake for data warehousing, and collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable, secure architectures. Implement data governance, security and compliance, and build scalable data models and integration solutions across AWS, Azure or Google Cloud. A strong background in Python and Java, SQL/NoSQL, and experience with Databricks, Snowflake and Spark is required.

Your Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Data Architect - Cloud with extensive experience in modern data platforms, including Databricks, Snowflake, ELT processes, and big data technologies like Apache Spark. The ideal candidate will have expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud), strong programming skills in Java and Python, and a deep understanding of data modeling, data pipelines, and governance.

• Architect and design cloud-based data infrastructure to support analytics, machine learning, and reporting needs.
• Lead the development and implementation of data pipelines (ELT/ETL) using Databricks, Spark, and other big data technologies.
• Optimize the use of cloud-native platforms like Snowflake for high-performance data warehousing and analytics.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable and secure data architectures.
• Implement data governance practices, ensuring data integrity, security, and compliance with regulatory standards.
• Build efficient, reliable, and scalable data models and data integration solutions.

Your Skills and Experience

• Experience in data architecture and data engineering.
• Proven expertise in Databricks, Snowflake, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
• Experience with ELT/ETL pipeline design, data warehousing, and data lakes.
• Strong programming skills in Python and Java.
• Hands-on experience with Apache Spark and other big data tools for data processing.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Experience in building scalable data solutions and distributed systems.
• Familiarity with data governance frameworks, security, and compliance.
• Bachelor's degree in data science, Analytics, Business, or related field. Advanced degrees or certifications are a plus.
