Job Overview

The Applications Development Technology Senior Lead Analyst is a senior level position responsible for end to end delivery of Accounting transformation technology programs with a strong focus on event based accounting platforms, data-driven analysis and automation. The role is ensures execution of initiatives across finance, data, reporting and AI enabled solutions delivering strategic as well regulatory projects.

Responsibilities:

• Lead complex accounting transformation projects deliverables from India - SAAS based (ORACLE ERP) and In-house built finance systems, data platforms and analytics solutions
• Lead Event based Accounting and Finance Data transformation initiatives
• Drive alignment between Finance, Technology, Operations while working closely with the global delivery team
• Be a single point of contact for Accounting technology project deliverables in India and ensure seamless collaboration with global Accounting Tech delivery teams
• Cross functional collaboration between Accounting tech and the Data engineering, dev certification, digital , AI & Automation services
• Implement Data Quality, Data visualization and analytics tools / frameworks to drive quality accounting reports and dashboards
• Analyze complex business processes, system processes, and industry standards to define and develop solutions to high level problems
• Provide expertise in area of advanced knowledge of applications programming and plan assignments involving large budgets, cross functional project, or multiple projects
• Develop application methodologies and standards for program analysis, design, coding, testing, debugging, and implementation
• Utilize advanced knowledge of supported main system flows and comprehensive knowledge of multiple areas to achieve technology goals
• Consult with end users to identify system function specifications and incorporate into overall system design
• Strong people management skills - Allocate work, and act as an advisor/coach developers, analysts, and new team members
• Influence and negotiate with senior leaders and communicate with external parties
• Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

Qualifications:

• 10+ years of relevant experience
• Experience in implementing projects in Banking & Financial Services domain
• Experience in Oracle Accounting Hub, General Ledger, In-house built Accounting platforms, Data Visualization and Reporting tools
• Demonstrated Subject Matter Expert (SME) in area(s) of Applications Development, Remediating Data Concerns, Reporting
• Demonstrated knowledge of core Finance functions
• Demonstrated leadership, project management, and development skills
• Relationship and consensus building skills

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
• Master’s degree preferred
