Join the International Finance division to manage end-to-end statistical reporting (e.g., AnaCredit, Balance Sheet Statistics). You will interpret requirements, produce day-to-day reports, and analyze data quality, identifying gaps to ensure high-quality submissions. You will coordinate with regulatory reporting software like A360 and assist with documentation, validation, and testing, while guiding junior colleagues.
The International Finance division is responsible for local internal and external financial reporting for the Commerzbank Group's foreign locations (excluding Americas) as well as for some Commerzbank AG Reporting. This includes end-to-end processes of accounting, controlling, regulatory and tax reporting.
Your tasks
- Interpret statistical reporting requirements like AnaCredit or Monthly balance sheet statistics and specifications
- Perform day-to-day business producing the reports
- Analyse source data for completeness, quality and consistency
- Identify missing data or inconsistencies that would prevent successful reporting
- Assist the Product Owner in coordinating the timely creation and submission of statistical reporting (AnaCredit, Balance Sheet Statistics) with regulatory reporting software A360 to supervisory authority in high quality
- Check validation rules and XML output to ensure that submission of reporting is provided with high quality
- create and maintain necessary documentation and guideline in accordance with head office rules
- Support the processing cell in test activities
- Provide guidance to younger colleagues
Your profile
- Bachelor´s or Master´s degree preferably in Accounting or Finance
- Minimum 5 years work experience in regulatory reporting and/or finance/ accounting
- Deep expertise in statistical reporting like AnaCredit or ECB statistical reporting
- Working experience with regulatory reporting software systems like Regnology A360 or WoltersKluwer OneSumX
- Good understanding of financial products such as loans, collateral, derivatives and related master data
- Understand complex regulatory concepts and ability to analyse and interpret regulatory data
- Sound understanding of data lineage and data governance principles
- Analytical mindset with strong problem solving skills and ability to work independently
- Fluent in English is a must, German is an advantage
