Position Summary

Work you’ll do/Responsibilities


Serve as Senior Leadership with health systems client in large-scale implementations, transformations, and day-to-day operations. Role will run IT operations for a large health systems client focused on data engineering, analytics, interoperability, AI & Insights serving as the bridge between IT & Operations. Will primarily work on Epic integration or interfacing with other healthcare platforms. VP will track performance of the team providing Application maintenance support by adhering to the required Service Level Agreement (SLA) timelines and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). Role will involve regular engagement with multiple levels of leadership including, VPs, Managers, Directors, project team members, and representatives from various functional and / or technical teams, including escalations. Work on new acquisitions and entities with extensive experience in implementation and rollout strategies.

Required Qualifications

  • 10+ years of recent Senior Leadership experience with health systems in large-scale implementations, transformations, and day-to-day operations
  • 8+ years of Operate or Managed Services experience  
  • 8+ years of experience performing or managing Epic integrations and interfacing work
  • Minimum 5-7 years as VP or Director of Data & Analytics for a multi-billion-dollar organization. Ideally, the candidate has Healthcare knowledge with prior experience in running IT operations for a large health system with leadership roles focused on data engineering, analytics, interoperability, AI & Insights serving as the bridge between IT & Operations
  • Track performance of the team providing Application maintenance support by adhering to the required Service Level Agreement (SLA) timelines and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with ability to manage large teams onshore, offshore, and nearshore
  • Strong executive presence with regular engagement with multiple levels of leadership including, VPs, Managers, Directors, project team members, and representatives from various functional and / or technical teams, including escalations.
  • Experience in supporting growth for new acquisitions and entities with extensive experience in implementation and rollout strategies
  • Limited immigration sponsorship may be available
  • Ability to travel 10%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve. This may include overnight travel.
  • This role is mostly remote
  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related IT discipline; and healthcare equivalent experience or equivalent experience

Preferred

  • Experience in modernizing large-scale data and analytics programs that promote an insight driven organization leveraging cloud & AI/ML technologies as well as Epic integrations
  • Experience running day-to-day operations, maintenance and ongoing enhancements of data platforms and applications as well as managing and governing the underlying data leveraging standardized, automated and AI enabled capabilities
  • Strong understanding of the Healthcare technology ecosystem including the core EMR and third-party applications with solutions that span the API lifecycle from strategy, identification, design, implement, secure, deploy and operate.

  • Direct Knowledge of business areas (e.g., Clinical and Revenue Cycle) with background in healthcare operations including outpatient, inpatient, and ancillary areas

  • Ability to rollout engagement specific project delivery processes 
  • Understanding of application interfacing with other modules/applications
  • Knowledge and experience working with Microsoft Office tools
  • Analytical/ Decision Making Responsibilities with strong Written and Communication Skills

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $180000 to $205000.

You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
