Your key responsibilities
- Managing enterprise set of requirements & specifications for metadata management and data lineage, assess gaps in current state and define roadmap to target state
- Driving the design, configuration, and adoption of enterprise metadata management and evidence grade lineage. Translating regulatory, operational and business use case requirements into actionable functional specifications, and champion adoption of data management tooling across business divisions & drive continuous improvements through automation
- Acting as primary CDO liaison for metadata management and data lineage, managing core stakeholders and coordinating with programme, architecture & engineering teams
- Owning enterprise functional design and standards for metadata management and data lineage
- Developing a centre of excellence for metadata management and data lineage to drive adoption, automation, provide training & support
- Influencing the strategic direction with clear and simple messaging for senior stakeholders
Your skills and experience
- Demonstrable experience in lineage & metadata management (discovery, curation, visualisation and maintenance both manual and automated) including in-house, vendor or open-source tools
- Experience in financial services industry, Chief Data Office or data governance programme & understanding of regulatory frameworks
- Excellent analytical and documentation skills able to translate business needs into actionable data solutions
- Experience in project delivery and Agile ways of working
- Understanding of data architecture concepts (ETL pipelines, golden sources, reference/master data, etc.)
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills & experience in developing and running user training
