Your key responsibilities
Architect and maintain scalable data warehouses and ETL/ELT pipelines, leveraging platforms like Snowflake, Trino, or similar technologies.
Develop optimized SQL scripts for complex data operations, ensuring efficiency across transactional and analytical systems.
Design and manage data integration processes that handle varied sources and formats, supporting both on-premises and cloud environments.
Implement data quality checks and monitoring frameworks, and maintain clear documentation of data lineage for transparency and compliance.
Apply data modeling best practices to structure datasets for analytical and operational use cases; perform profiling to uncover data characteristics and quality issues.
Partner with business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver data solutions that meet strategic objectives.
Create intuitive dashboards and reports using visualization tools to communicate insights and support decision-making.
Contribute to Agile workflows, ensuring timely delivery of data products in a collaborative environment.
Your skills and experience
- Informatica Power Center - CDI PC, SQL or Oracle, CRON Jobs, Batch based ETL processing, ETL , Unix -KSH/BSH Scripts , Control-M Automation, Data Orchestration and Bsueinss rule validation schemas. Oracle 19, EXA CC Database and Datawarehouse, Marts and Data Agrregation Techniques, Optimization Tuning and Fragmentiation techniques, Normalization.
- Data Exception Stacking and STP Processing. SQL Server 2019, 2022 . Transaction and Data Profilers, DataObjects and Schema Transformation. File Staging Techniques ( flat file, ingesting structured and unstructured data sets ingestion)
- 3–5+ years of practical experience as a Data Engineer, working on complex data ecosystems.
- Strong background in building and maintaining data warehouses and ETL/ELT pipelines across diverse platforms and data formats (structured and semi-structured).
- Advanced proficiency in SQL for both data manipulation (DML) and schema design (DDL) in relational databases, including OLTP and OLAP systems;
- Hands-on expertise in developing ETL workflows that integrate multiple data sources, including batch and streaming ingestion, and applying robust data cleansing techniques.
- Solid understanding of data governance principles such as lineage, observability, and data quality; experience implementing data controls is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with data modeling concepts, with the ability to analyze data domains and dependencies through profiling and exploration.
- Strong communication skills and experience collaborating with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Practical experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker) to present insights effectively.
- Comfortable working in Agile teams and adapting to iterative development processes.
