The Trade Desk Analyst will work with trading teams to provide timely information and models that support trading strategies for both physical and financial activities. You will build, update, and maintain supply/demand models and dashboards using the best available data and forecasts, and monitor market data and trading activity across NGLs and refined products. You will support traders with real-time data, trade entry, and position tracking, and apply digital tools to enhance model robustness and integrate modeling across offices. You will strengthen the technical model framework and automated data scraping while delivering proprietary analytics in close cooperation with the trading teams.

What does the job involve?
The Trade Desk Analyst is working with the trading teams to provide timely and relevant information and models that support the team's trading strategies for both physical and financial activities. You are utilizing your knowledge independently to solve highly complex tasks with a short to medium-term outlook. You independently communicate within the immediate team, across other trade desks, and towards key stakeholders from partners or external parties. You promote change initiatives, demonstrate flexibility to adopt new highly complex activities/ways of working and advice others. You follow and comply with safety, ethics, and compliance requirements and align with leadership expectations and company values.What will my tasks be?
Within this position, your key tasks will be to:
Collaborate with traders and trade desk analysts to build and update supply/demand models with the best available data and forecasts.
Build and Maintain models and dashboards day-to-day to ensure performance and timely deliverables.
Monitor and analyze market data, price movements, and trading activity across NGLs and refined products.
Support traders with real-time data, trade entry, and position tracking.
Apply digital tools and techniques to enhance model robustness and capability, and integrate modeling performed in other offices and trade desks.
Strengthen the technical model framework and automated data scraping while preserving the integrity of model data.
Provide proprietary, actionable analytics for and in close cooperation with the trading teams.

Bachelor's degree in finance, Economics, Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum 7 years relevant work experience – e.g. working directly with a trading desk.
Excellent quantitative analytical and modelling skills, with strong attention to detail.
A commercial mindset and deep understanding of energy markets and commodity trading.
Proficiency in Excel and data visualization tools - experience with Python, SQL, or VBA is a bonus.
Curiosity and motivation to combine knowledge of coding and market fundamentals to timely clean data and deliver actionable analysis.
Self-driven, curious and a team player
Adaptability and ability to collaborate across commercial and technical disciplines.
Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced team environment.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
