EY is seeking a Senior EDM Data Analyst in Wealth & Asset Management to translate business data requirements into technical data solutions. The role involves data modeling, data lineage, data mapping, and analytics across capital and financial markets, with hands-on experience in EDM/MDM platforms (e.g., Markit EDM, GoldenSource). The candidate will work with cross-functional teams to design dashboards and reports in Power BI, write complex SQL queries, and apply Python for data processing. Relevant domain knowledge includes Capital Markets, Financial Markets, Asset Classes & Products, and Trade Life cycle.

Job description: - (Senior)
IT-DA-EDM with wealth management background
Required skills: -
- 3-7 years of experience as an IT- Data Analyst role
- Expertise in at least 1 domain –
- Capital Markets
- Financial Markets
- Asset Classes & Products
- Trade Life cycle
- Hands‑on experience working with at least one of the following Enterprise Data Management (EDM) or Master Data Management (MDM) platforms :
- Markit EDM (iDM/Enterprise Data Management)
- Eagle Data Management / Eagle PACE
- GoldenSource EDM
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including business teams, developers, and testers to translate Functional Data requirements into Technical Data requirements
- Proficient in preparing data model diagrams, data flow diagrams, and comprehensive data management documentation, i.e. source‑to‑target mappings, transformation specs, workflow documentation, business rules, exception handling
- Experience in the following areas
- Explorative data analysis / data validation
- Handling and processing large datasets
- Data modelling / integration
- Data lineage
- Data mapping techniques
- Data analytics
- Data profiling
- Working knowledge of programming language like Python
- Experienced in SQL query writing & developing complex queries across multiple tables
- Working knowledge on Data Visualization & Reporting
- Expertise in designing interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI, applying best practices in visual design, storytelling, and layout.
- Ability to select appropriate visualizations (charts, maps, KPIs, slicers) based on data and business questions.
- Skilled in creating user‑centric visual narratives that highlight patterns, trends, outliers, and key performance indicators.
- Proficient in Power BI Desktop, Power BI Service, DAX, Power Query, data modelling, and publishing pipelines.
Nice to Have
- Cloud integrations (Azure/AWS).
- Understanding of APIs and messaging frameworks.
- Familiarity with data governance & quality tools.
