The EMEA Institutional Buy Side (IBS) Middle Office Implementation Specialist will be a subject matter expert in FactSet Core Analytics and Performance solutions, delivering high-value deployments and engagements. You will ensure data integration and quality, configure FactSet solutions, build end-user reports and interfaces, and train clients while supporting users to ensure best practices throughout the implementation process. All work is project-based and may include implementations, solution optimization, and knowledge-intensive tasks. You will drive measurable improvements in implementation processes and share lessons learned across Implementation, Product, Sales, and Client Services teams, including exploring AI-driven efficiencies.

Our clients see Implementation Services personnel as key partners to support complex changes across their organizations, enterprise deployments of FactSet solutions, organizational restructures, and process improvement. As we increase the breadth of our product mix, the strength and agility of our Implementation Services team will become even more instrumental to the success of FactSet’s Institutional Buy Side Business Unit.

The EMEA Institutional Buy Side (IBS) Middle Office Implementation Specialist is a subject matter expert in FactSet’s Core Analytics and Performance solutions, tasked with deploying FactSet’s products by delivering on high-value projects and engagements. The Implementation Specialist’s primary focus is on ensuring that FactSet’s clients are properly set up to get the most value out of their FactSet subscriptions. They are responsible for things like ensuring data integration and quality, configuring solutions within FactSet, building end user reports and interfaces, training our clients, and supporting users during the implementation process to ensure best practises are adopted. All work done by Implementation Specialists is project-based and may include implementations, solutions optimization, and other time and knowledge intensive projects.

What You'll Do:

  • ·Work directly with existing and new clients to implement and configure FactSet’s Core Analytics and Performance products, creating scalable and supportable solutions.
  • Continuously build specialist knowledge of FactSet’s Analytics and Performance solutions across the Portfolio Life Cycle. Maintain a strong understanding of client types (e.g. Institutional Asset Management, Wealth Management etc.), user workflows and solution enhancements so to guide users to best practices.
  • Partner with Project Management, Client Data Integration, Sales, and Client Services & Support teams to deliver and transition projects efficiently and effectively.
  • Ensure adherence to Statements of Work, clarifying ambiguous requirements, and maintaining best practice standards
  • Escalate project issues/risks to Project Managers and Implementation Services leadership team in a timely fashion
  • Document client projects and processes, creating procedures and guidelines to share with BAU teams
  • Drive knowledge transfer by sharing lessons learned, best practices, and innovations across Implementation, Product, Sales, and Client Services & Support teams
  • Deliver measurable improvement in implementation processes by optimizing project workflows, introducing efficiencies (including AI-driven solutions), and clearly documenting improvements.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics or relevant subject. CFA qualification desirable
  • 5+ years of professional experience in the field of Finance or FinTech, within a client facing role. Exposure to Middle Office and Performance workflows is required. Experience working specifically with Wealth Management clients is desired.
  • Experience using and implementing FactSet Institutional Buy Side Products (specifically FactSet Performance System) or other vendor Attribution and Performance systems.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with FactSet’s most sophisticated users via a strong understanding of investment principles and their application in the industry
  • Keen interest and track record of using AI to improve implementation efficiency
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for working with diverse project teams and stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational and presentation skills
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects in parallel.
  • Strong problem solving/analytical skills.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office with Excel skills
  • Willingness to learn new trends and remain aware of industry changes
