We are seeking a QA specialized Data Quality Engineer with strong SQL, Python scripting, and Snowflake experience to design and execute data-focused quality tests across multiple data platforms. The role involves requirement analysis, data analysis, test automation, and participating in Agile development, CI/CD integrations, and partnerships with stakeholders. You will review test strategies, write complex SQL queries, and ensure coverage across unit, functional, performance, and acceptance testing. The ideal candidate has 6+ years of Data QA experience and is comfortable working with cloud data concepts and various data tooling.

The Role
We are looking for a QA candidate who is experienced in Quality Engineering, adept in recent technologies, can independently seek technical issues, and work with teams of developers, who take pride in providing solutions. You’ll be involved in all phases and layers of the data work we perform, and have a direct impact on the customer experience.
Role Functions:
Experience with requirement analysis, defect tracking, coordinating with team members in different locations and test reporting and closure
Should be comfortable in writing complex SQL queries and perform data analysis
Working knowledge of Relational Database Management System like Oracle, SQL Server and SQL MI
Knowledge on Cloud and Data Concepts and tools – AWS, Data Lake, Snowflake, Snap logic etc.
Very good experience in test automation using any established frameworks like in Java or data testing tools like Fitnesse, iCEDQ etc.
Review test strategies with stakeholders and ensure that all the various kinds of testing like unit, functional, performance, acceptance etc. are getting covered
Good working experience in scripting languages like Java script, python, Unix, Shell, etc.
Strong analytical, technical skills to be able to address complex issues. Able to review defects on regular basis and perform root- cause analysis
Familiarity with Workplace Concepts like DC, DB and SPS
Experience in working in an Agile software development environment
Participate in understanding and refinement of User Stories, QA related tasks and test cases, and functional automation, Integrating the automation code with DevOps pipeline for CICD and usage of tools like Jenkins, Udeploy, Concourse etc.
Implementing QA standard methodologies acquired through prior experience for QA process improvement and Participate in production release deployment verification on a regular cadence
Must maintain flawless communication and coordination with Partners, Business Analysts, developers and peers for completion of various testing tasks.

6+ years of Data QA experience
3+ Years of Snowflake QA or similar cloud-based data QA experience.
Experience writing test automation.
Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or Data QA.
Object oriented/modular QA Testing experience.
Strong Mathematical/SQL skills for complex formula and logic validations.
Strong Attention to Detail.
WI/Fidelity Data and Table Knowledge a plus
