Senior Data Steward responsible for leading data governance and quality practices across assigned domains. You will maintain metadata and glossary terms in Informatica, document end-to-end lineage, profile data to identify issues, and define/monitor data quality rules and KPIs. The role partners with Data Engineers, Risk, Compliance, and business owners to embed controls in pipelines, drive remediation, and support AI data readiness. Strong communication and cross-functional influence are required to create training and governance reporting for stakeholders.

This team leads data governance and data quality practices that ensure the company can make better decisions, reduce risk, and enable AI-driven capabilities. Team members collaborate across business, engineering, risk, and compliance groups to define trusted data and maintain consistent standards. How you will add value?
Core Responsibilities:
You will manage governance practices and workflows for assigned data domains.
You will maintain glossary terms, definitions, critical data elements, and metadata in Informatica.
You will document clear end‑to‑end data lineage across systems.
You will profile data to identify issues and recommend remediation.
You will define and monitor data quality rules using the DQM tool.
You will report data quality KPIs and publish scorecards for stakeholders.
You will partner with Data Engineers to embed governance rules and controls in pipelines.
Strategic Responsibilities:
You will lead governance issue intake, triage, and remediation tracking.
You will work with Risk, Compliance, Information Security, and Legal on classification and handling of sensitive data.
You will create accessible communications and training that explain the value of governed data.
Team & Collaboration:
You will collaborate with business owners to align on quality expectations.
You will support consistency in definitions, lineage, and controls across domains.
What will help you be successful in this role?
Experience, Education & Certifications:
7+ years in data governance, stewardship, quality, or management.
Experience influencing cross‑functional partners.
Strong communication skills.
Hands‑on experience with governance tools such as Informatica.
Experience operating data quality controls and KPIs.
Understanding of data lifecycle, lineage, access controls, and privacy (including PII).
CDMP certification or willingness to obtain within 12 months.
Technical Skills:
Ability to build executive ready scorecards and governance reporting.
Experience supporting AI data readiness efforts.
Experience with Informatica and modern Data Management Systems is highly desirable
Soft Skills:
Strong collaboration and problem‑solving mindset.
Ability to simplify complex concepts for broad audiences.
Work Shift Timings - 2:00 PM - 11:00 PM IST
