We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Associate Director, Data and Analytics.

Business: CTO Data Technology

Principal responsibilities

  • Engineering and People Leader for DPT China, Primary responsibility within Data Transformation, structuring work across Data Provisioning Technologies, increase footprint of resources in China for development and support.
Knowledge & Experience / Qualifications
  • Experienced Engineering Lead able to deliver projects at scale working in agile frameworks as required, SCRUM, Kanban, Hybrid.
  • Leadership skills are key to this role so a strong record of people management and growing teams.
  • Good technology knowledge around data platforms / data processing as a key part of the role is delivery on roadmaps to improve overall capabilities.
  • Primary tooling supported will be Prophecy and Datastage so knowledge of data transformation tooling will be key.
  • Knowledge of DevOps and automation processes. Working with product vendors on enhancements and issues resolution.

What additional skills will be good to have?

Relevant PM/Agile accreditation, Technical accreditation in a data related area, DevOps awareness and able to build DevOps into capabilities from the ground up. Knowledge of HSBC support processes.
