We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Software engineer.

In this role, you will:

• Build, Enhance & Provide production support for GCP based application, using Technologies like Google BigQuery, Python, workflows.
• Contribute E2E feature delivery – requirement analysis, design, development, environment build, data load, testing, deployment, code reviews, etc.
• Establish a digital environment and automate processes to minimize variation and ensure predictable high-quality code and data.
• Work with Ops, Dev and Test Engineers to ensure operational issues (performance, operator intervention, alerting, design defect related issues, etc.) are identified and addressed at all stages of a product or service release / change.
• Be responsible for automating the continuous integration / continuous delivery pipeline within a DevOps Product/Service team driving a culture of continuous improvement. Also, should be aware of the various code scanning findings and provide meaningful remediation solutions.
• Should oversee and ensure all the IT General Controls (e.g. SDLC, DEPL, etc) are followed and be able to provide evidence when required by audit reviews from time to time.
• Be flexible to work in shifts and provide on-call support.

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:
• Knowledge of Google Cloud, BigQuery, Shell scripting, SQL scripts, any batch scheduling Tool such as Control M.
• Previous Experience of working in any data warehouse\ Regulatory Reporting Project.
• Risk and Compliance. Knowledge of Production Support processes and procedures (Change, Incident, Problem & Service management).
• Basic understanding of DevOps operating model and tools such as Jenkins/Ansible/Github.
• Work independently to analyse and resolve production problems and work with global team across time zones to resolve them.
• Knowledge of Agile delivery processes and Devops practices
• Knowledge of CICD pipeline & Devops tooling is an added advantage.
• Candidate will be required to continually enhance the skills within a few specialisms which include gaining business knowledge, understanding of interfaces, Impact Assessments, Development, Code Scanning and Deployments along with operational / business support.
