We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of REPORTING AND ANALYTICS SENIOR ASSOCIATE

Purpose of the role

  • This challenging role leads the design, development, and maintenance of critical performance analytics dashboards in QlikSense across global operations. We are seeking a suitable candidate who can own the full lifecycle of Qlik Sense dashboards: requirements gathering, data modeling, scripting, visualization, testing, deployment, release management, and ongoing support. They should be able to leverage the full capabilities of Qlik Sense, utilizing advanced extensions and plugins (e.g., Vizlib, Writeback) to create scalable, interactive, and visually impactful dashboards. The role will contribute in developing advanced data models, optimize performance, and implement incremental loading, data transformation logic, and governance protocols. Role will be the SME and thought leader on Qlik Sense, continuously exploring new features, plugins, and extensions to drive innovation.

In this role, you will:

  • Lead the design of narrative-driven dashboards and data stories using Qlik Sense, enabling stakeholders to derive actionable insights. Deliver impactful insights and actionable visual analytics for global operational teams, supporting critical KPIs and decision-making in operational performance.
  • Drive automation and eliminate manual reporting dependencies by optimizing Qlik dashboards with advanced interactivity (e.g., dynamic filters, writeback features, predictive analytics). Collaborate with business users to translate complex data into intuitive, context-rich visual experiences tailored to diverse audiences.
  • Maintain a well-governed, scalable dashboard infrastructure with a centralized catalog of Qlik Sense applications, ensuring seamless integration with global systems and real-time data pipelines. Apply best practices in visual storytelling, leveraging Qlik’s native features (e.g., storytelling mode, annotations, guided analytics).
  • Manage data refresh schedules and dashboard release cycles, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of reporting within strict deadlines and operational windows.
  • Develop and implement training programs for global teams on advanced Qlik Sense capabilities, including dashboard development, plugin extensions, and self-service analytics.
  • Provide leadership and mentoring to junior developers and analysts, ensuring skill development in areas such as data governance, advanced scripting, and data modeling. Maintain an internal knowledge-sharing platform where team members can access documentation on best practices, reusable Qlik objects, and plugin libraries.
  • Encourage the use of Qlik Sense extensions, fostering innovation across the developer team and empowering individuals to leverage the full capabilities of the tool. Demonstrate leadership in driving continuous improvement initiatives, utilizing advanced Qlik Sense features and extensions to optimize dashboards and data workflows.
  • Champion cross-team collaboration, ensuring alignment of objectives, sharing knowledge, and driving consistent standards across the global Qlik environment.
  • Manage the balance between flexibility and governance in using Qlik Sense plugins to ensure dashboards are both user-friendly and compliant with enterprise standards. Address scalability challenges, ensuring that performance is optimized even as the number of dashboards and data sources grows exponentially.
  • Overcome issues related to plugin compatibility, data integrity, and cross-browser support, ensuring all visualizations are performant and error-free.Mitigate risks related to security compliance and data privacy, particularly when using third-party Qlik extensions or integrating with external data sources.

To be successful you will:

  • Qlik Sense Expertise: Strong command over Qlik Sense scripting, data modeling, and advanced visualization techniques, including extension/plugin management and performance optimization.
  • Plugin and Extension Proficiency: Deep experience with Qlik extensions like Vizlib (Finance, Writeback, Library), Climber, Sense Excel, and custom-built solutions. Integration Skills: Strong knowledge of Qlik APIs, mashups, and embedded analytics, including the ability to integrate Qlik with other systems (e.g., SAP, CRM, databases).
  • Programming & Data: Proficient in SQL, JavaScript, REST APIs, and Qlik scripting for creating complex data pipelines and transformations.
  • Bachelor’s degree in numerate subject, perhaps mathematics or equivalent experience; Master’s degree preferred.
  • 7+ years of Qlik development experience is a must. 7+ years’ experience to translate data into meaningful narratives that drive business decisions.
  • Alteryx developer certification is good to have. Python, SQL and Machine learning certifications are good to have.
