We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Software Engineer.

Business: Enterprise Technology L3

Principal responsibilities

• Collaborates with designers/developers to acquire knowledge of the system solution and the expected end to end usage pattern
• Works closely with business users to collect testing requirements and participates in test planning with documentation
• Supports system code changes specific to Finance requirements
• Collects and document test cases and testing evidence in good shape and fulfilling audit requirement
• Supports Functional Integration Test and User Acceptance Test, assist business users to perform testing and result checking
• Adopts Agile methodology for collaboration
• Manages users queries and defects raised during the FIT/UAT
• Coordinates with other testing participants to prepare test cases, test data and environment setup
• Coordinates and undertakes test execution tasks, assists result checking and problem investigation and proposes root cause of issue to ensure good testing quality
• Adopts flexible working hours, but is able to accommodate in different time-zones (eg: UK, HK, India) to work seamlessly with the global team for defects/queries follow up

Knowledge & Experience/Qualifications

• 3+ years working experiences as a Data Engineer
• Rich development experience in Shell, SQL, Python programming
• Rich development experience in Data Warehouse Tool: BigQuery/PostgreSQL/Hive/Mysql/Oracle
• Good development exerience on Cloud Platform GCP(Major)/Azure/AWS)
• Good development experience in Workflow Management Tools: Airflow/Control-M/Azure Data Factory/AWS Glue
• Good communication skills, fluent verbal and written in English, and an ability to interact professionally with an array of business users
• Strong technical analysis skills, with the ability to define a problem, assess it and propose solutions based on facts / data
• Ability to multi-task, work under pressure, thinks analytically and communicate effectively
• Self-motivated, enthusiastic and proven rapid learning capability
• Strong team player, highly collaborative and able to work in large team of global structure with different cultural background
