Business: CTO Data Technology Principal responsibilities We are looking for a dynamic Lead Decisioning Engineer to take charge of building a robust Marketing Decisioning Platform from the ground up. This role demands a seasoned professional with extensive experience in developing and scaling real-time decisioning engines, managing Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices, and leading high-performing teams. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in delivering scalable and resilient enterprise-scale projects, with an emphasis on innovative problem-solving. Architect and develop a scalable Marketing Decisioning Platform that supports enterprise-level marketing strategies and operations. Lead the design and implementation of real-time decisioning engines that can handle high transaction volumes while ensuring low latency and high availability. Oversee SRE practices to streamline deployment, monitoring, and scaling of the decisioning platform, ensuring operational excellence and reliability. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, data science, and marketing, to define requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Mentor and lead a team of engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement. Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve complex technical challenges, ensuring optimal system performance and reliability. Stay informed about industry trends and emerging technologies, incorporating best practices to maintain a competitive edge. Knowledge & Experience / Qualifications Extensive experience in building and scaling real-time decisioning engines for enterprise applications. Strong expertise in software development, system architecture, and data engineering. Proven experience in managing SRE practices, including reliability, monitoring, and performance optimization. Demonstrated leadership skills with experience in mentoring and developing engineering teams. Exceptional problem-solving abilities, with a focus on delivering resilient and scalable solutions. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. What additional skills will be good to have? Exposure to Agentic AI technologies and their application in decision-making processes. Familiarity with data privacy regulations and best practices for consumer data management. Knowledge of marketing technologies and platforms, including CRM, DMP, and analytics tools.
