As an Analytics Solutions Senior Associate on the Wholesale Client Profitability Analytics Solutions team you will manage projects to coordinate client profitability data and reporting improvements, perform root-cause analyses, and deliver documented solutions. You will collaborate with business, operations and technology stakeholders to prioritize requests, support production activities, and prepare data-driven communications and presentations. The role requires proficiency with SQL, Databricks, Python, Alteryx and visualization tools, strong quantitative skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

As an Analytics Solutions – Senior Associate in our Wholesale Client Profitability Analytics Solutions team, you will manage a range of projects coordinating client profitability data and reporting improvements. You will work collaboratively with business and technology stakeholders to deliver proactive solutions, prioritize requests, and improve client profitability data and reporting. Your role will involve conducting analyses on key issues impacting client profitability to determine root cause and deliver quality documentation capturing proposed solutions. You will also build and maintain key relationships across business stakeholders, and operations and technology partners. 

Job responsibilities

  • Work collaboratively with business and technology stakeholders to deliver proactive solutions, prioritize requests, and improve client profitability data and reporting
  • Conduct analysis on key issues impacting client profitability to determine root cause and deliver quality documentation capturing proposed solutions 
  • Build and maintain key relationships across business stakeholders (e.g., project managers, business users, subject matter experts), and operations and technology partners 
  • Support Wholesale Client Profitability production related activities with project impact analyses, thorough unit and end-to-end testing, and subject matter expertise 
  • Prepare and distribute data-driven communications, profitability presentations, and business analysis with accuracy and adherence to JPMorgan Chase brand style guidelines 
     

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Management Information Solutions, Data Science, or similar discipline
  • 3 years of experience in financial services, business analytics, project management, or equivalent
  • Superior written and verbal business communication, with the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management and staff 
  • Ability to work independently in a fast moving environment 
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and multi-task 
  • Advanced qualitative and quantitative analytical skills with ability to synthesize large data sets and identify targeted, crisp messages 
  • Competence to influence, negotiate and manage conflicts across all levels 
  • Experience with SQL, Databricks, Python, Alteryx, Tableau, Qlik Sense and emerging technologies 
  • Proficiency with Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access, Cognos, and SharePoint. 
  • Experience with Confluence, JIRA, JIRA queries, and JQL
     

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • A self-starter with the ability to quickly learn and assimilate business and technical knowledge
  • Experience with Agile delivery methodologies
Conduct analytics solutions and help foster data-driven innovation in a collaborative, growth-focused team.
