Join the Controls Room Data Visualization/Automation team to design and implement automated data processes, build BI dashboards (Tableau/ThoughtSpot/Qlik), and develop ETL workflows using Alteryx to improve control oversight and operational efficiency. You will create and maintain SharePoint sites and custom solutions (SPFx, JavaScript, REST API, HTML/CSS) and automate workflows using PowerApps, Power Automate and InfoPath while integrating with other business applications. The role requires stakeholder engagement, documentation, adherence to JPMC QA procedures, and regular testing, as well as leading and mentoring a small developer team. This position requires strong BI/analytics experience (8+ years) and flexibility to work EMEA shifts.

The Firmwide Control Management team is dedicated to establishing a robust control framework across business lines by swiftly addressing control issues. Collaborating with various control disciplines, the team oversees existing functions and develops new protocols to ensure timely engagement and resolution of critical issues. The Controls Room, a vital part of this organization, provides essential management information to aid decision-making. The Data Visualization/Automation team plays a key role by creating standardized operational risk reporting dashboards, focusing on speed, efficiency, and precision to enhance control oversight and operational efficiency.
Job Summary
As a member of the Data Visualization/Automation team, you will collaborate with the Automation Lead to identify and implement automation opportunities. You will design and execute automated data processes to enhance efficiency and build dashboards using tools like Tableau, Thoughtspot, or Qlik for visual insights. Within this role, you will develop and manage ETL workflows using Alteryx for seamless data integration and transformation. You will document procedures and solutions to facilitate team adoption and knowledge sharing. Additionally, you will create and maintain SharePoint sites, libraries, and lists to support business needs, and build custom SharePoint solutions using SPFx, JavaScript, REST API, HTML/CSS, and Designer. You will automate workflows with PowerApps, Power Automate, and InfoPath, integrating SharePoint with other business applications. Collaborating with stakeholders, you will gather requirements, integrate BI solutions, and provide technical guidance. You will adhere to JPMC procedures and QA best practices, conducting regular reviews and testing for quality assurance and compliance. Furthermore, you will lead and mentor a small developer team, allocating tasks, setting priorities, tracking progress, and fostering collaboration and high performance.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Overall 8+ years of BI/Analytics experience
- Master’s or a graduate degree in Computer Science, Statistics, or a related quantitative field
- Solid database skills:
- 5+ years’ experience in ETL using Alteryx and in Dashboarding using Tableau
- Ability to learn quickly, adjust to changes and think outside the box
- Excellent time management and organizational skills with attention to detail
- Good verbal/written and inter-personal skills
- Positive attitude, self-motivated and confident

- Should be flexible with EMEA shifts
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Knowledge of Big Data Concepts / Hadoop
- Experience with operational risk in the banking industry
