As a Finance and Business Manager in Corporate and Investment Banking (CIB) Philippines Corporate Center Operations, you will provide guidance and business support to a team of over 3,000 employees. You will deliver business metrics reporting, workforce management, workplace resources management, and finance governance. In this role, you will lead performance improvements, drive productivity, and enhance process efficiencies. We act as trusted advisors and counterweights to Business and Group Heads, identifying, escalating, and mitigating business risks. The business manager role is dynamic and adapts to the priorities of different lines of business.
Job Responsibilities:
- Participate in collaborative initiatives with team members and global managers to simplify and improve business processes
- Provide high responsiveness to executive requests for business analysis, presentation development, and project management
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with business initiatives
- Manage reports, including gathering, publishing, validating, interpreting, and analyzing data
- Design and create data visualization frameworks for reports, scorecards, and other collaterals
- Resolve report gaps and provide recommendations, trend analysis, and forecasting
- Support and manage the development and execution of business transformation strategies
- Drive adoption of digital technologies to improve operations and customer experiences
- Act as back-up for Workplace Resources, Workforce, Finance Management, and other functional areas
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- Graduate of any 4-year course
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in MS Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Pivot Tables), Tableau, Alteryx, UIPath, Python, and graphic design software
- Demonstrated ability to work with diverse stakeholder groups and drive agendas
- Proven experience delivering timely, high-quality presentations and reports
- Strong attention to detail and focus on design excellence
- Excellent communication, organization, and project management skills
- Ability to influence individuals toward common goals
- Strong time management and prioritization skills
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- Prior experience in Business Management
- Experience in business transformation and digital technology adoption
- Ability to articulate and demonstrate thoughtful rationale in design decisions
- Tenacious and proactive approach to work
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
