Join the Corporate Finance & Treasury/CIO Chief Data Office as a Data Quality Risk Associate to support the firm’s data quality framework. You will work with global stakeholders to develop and implement data quality standards, controls, testing, tooling and assurance practices. The role involves requirements gathering, implementation support, training and stakeholder engagement to drive adoption and continuous improvement. This position builds expertise in data management, risk and analytics within a large finance organization.

The Firmwide Finance Business Architecture team (FFBA) is accountable for leading large-scale data, infrastructure, accounting standard and business process change management events. 

The Corporate Finance & Treasury/Chief Investment Office (CIO) Chief Data Office (CDO) is responsible for providing fit for purpose data required by Corporate Finance & Treasury/Chief Investment Office and driving data governance and policy adherence to the Firmwide Data Risk Management standards and capabilities. The Corporate Finance & T/CIO CDO team also provides a centralized program management and business analysis capability, targeted program governance, and consistent application of program management standards including system testing and change management practices.

As a Data Quality Risk Associate within the Corporate Finance and Treasury/CIO Chief Data Office, you will collaborate with global teams and stakeholders to help strengthen the firm’s data quality framework. You will contribute to the development and implementation of standards, procedures, and tools that support data quality and risk management across Corporate Finance and T/CIO This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to build expertise in data management, risk, and analytics, while supporting key initiatives that drive the firm’s data strategy.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Support Data Quality Initiatives: Assist in the development and implementation of data quality standards, procedures, and playbooks to enhance alignment and execution with the Firm’s data quality framework.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with business stakeholders, Corporate Finance and T/CIO CDO members as well as the Firmwide Chief Data Analytics Office to support delivery of data quality risk management capabilities.
  • Metrics and Assurance: Contribute to the creation and maintenance of standard operating procedures and program-related data quality execution assurance practices to deliver timely and accurate data quality item lifecycle management.
  • Implementation Support: Assist in driving implementation plans, testing and data validation for data risk management capabilities within Corporate Finance and T/CIO functions.
  • Requirements Gathering: Participate in defining business and technical requirements for data quality controls, data quality item management and support the development of related tooling.
  • Tooling and Adoption: Help support the rollout and adoption of data quality tools and capabilities within the CDO community.
  • Training and Engagement: Promote a culture of data quality and accountability by supporting stakeholder engagement, training sessions, and consulting activities.
  • Continuous Improvement: Participate in working groups and forums to represent the CDO perspective, share best practices, and contribute to firmwide convergence on data quality standards.

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or related field.
  • 2+ years of Data Risk Management or relevant Data Governance / Data Management experience
  • 2+ years of corporate working experience in international and multi-cultural environment
  • Proficient with MS Office (Excel, Power Point, Visio, Word)
  • Ability to interpret internal governance documents like policies, standards and procedures
  • Managing multiple priorities and thriving in a varied, fast-paced environment
  • Strong interpersonal skills with ability to communicate effectively, drive consensus, and influence relationships at all levels 
  • Proven ability to partner and lead across LOBs, Functions and Regions
  • Attention to detail; strong analytical and problem-solving skills; sound judgment.

 Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Ability to develop Operating Models, Processes and Job Aids which aim is to identify and mitigate data risk.
  • Experience with developing concise content in Confluence and/or other collaboration tools.
