Senior data owner responsible for overseeing data created, provisioned, or consumed in key business applications and defining/classifying critical data to meet quality and safety standards. Collaborates with business and technology partners to develop AI-ready data products, support operations, analytics, and AI/ML use cases, and build/groom backlogs for delivery teams. - Build and groom the backlog for data delivery teams, defining initiatives and epics to guide work and outcomesDevelop data strategy to deliver AI-ready data productsCreate plans to develop and deliver data supporting business operations, strategic objectives, analytics, and AI/ML use casesDocument requirements for data content and quality, coordinating with technology and business partnersDevelop processes and procedures in the data product management lifecycle, identifying, monitoring, and mitigating data risksPartner with technology and business resources to resolve data issues promptly and consistentlyManage direct or matrixed staff to execute data-related tasks
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
- Six years of related data management and platform experienceBachelor’s degree requiredExpertise in data technologies including analytics, business intelligence, data analysis, machine learning, data warehousing, data management and governance, data qualityExperience with risk and control requirementsStrong interpersonal and communication skillsGood business acumen and strategic thinking
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
- Understanding and practical experience in data engineering and analytics (SQL, Tableau, Alteryx, Spark), machine learning (Python, JupyterLab, LLMs), cloud technologies and their applications (AWS, Snowflake, Databricks)Knowledge of open data standards, data taxonomy and vocabularies, metadata managementAnalytical thinking and problem-solving skills Drive innovation by ensuring business data is documented, high quality, and protected for analytics and operations.
