Join the EMEA Chief Data Office to support adoption of firmwide data management strategy across EMEA by producing metrics, reports, and governance materials. The role engages stakeholders across lines of business to identify and surface data risks, incidents, and regulatory issues. You will automate and streamline EMEA data metric processes using Alteryx and Tableau and create synthesized views and decks for key governance meetings. The Firmwide Chief Data & Analytics Office (CDAO) at JPMorgan Chase is responsible for accelerating the firm’s data and analytics journey. This includes ensuring the quality, integrity, and security of the company's data, as well as leveraging this data to generate insights and drive decision-making. The Firmwide CDAO is also responsible for developing and implementing solutions that support the firm’s commercial goals by harnessing artificial intelligence and machine learning technologies to develop new products, improve productivity, and enhance risk management effectively and responsibly.
The EMEA Chief Data Office (CDO) is part of the wider Firmwide Chief Data & Analytics Office and is responsible for the adoption in EMEA of the Firmwide Chief Data Office data management strategy, and ensuring data policies, governance and standards are applied consistently applied across all Lines of Businesses and legal entities in EMEA.
Job Responsibilities
- Engaging Stakeholders: Actively engage in committees, forums, & meetings across all line of businesses and corporate functions. Addressing risks, issues, incidents, regulatory developments, & initiatives with precision & clarity
- Utilise Alteryx and Tableau to automate and streamline existing processes for gathering EMEA data metrics.
- Create comprehensive, synthesized views of data risk & emerging control issues.
- Create decks for various key EMEA meetings such as the EMEA Data Governance Forum and the UK Senior Management Function meetings.
Required qualifications, skills, and capabilities:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a finance/ operations related field similar in leading financial institutions
- Experience in data-related or technology fields are a plus
- Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Highly motivated individual with excellent time management & organizational skills
- Excellent working knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, Tableau and Alteryx
- Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills, flexible and capable of engaging various functions, locations, and businesses
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in data-related or technology fields are a plus
