As a Data Specialist in Cash Asset Management (CAM) Expense, you support the Senior Data Lead, Expense Service Owner, and Expense Service Manager in leveraging data to achieve business objectives. You will contribute to the development and maintenance of data, analytics, and visualization capabilities, helping to advance the key financial and risk objectives of the CAM Expense Service. You will work collaboratively with citizen data analysts, data scientists, engineers, and visualization specialists, gaining exposure to technology and ML/AI experts while developing your skills and supporting senior decision makers.

Job Responsibilities

  • Assist in designing, developing, and maintaining processing, analytics, visualization, and reporting solutions.
  • Help integrate and manage data from multiple sources, ensuring data quality, consistency, and accessibility.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including technology, operations, and finance, to deliver data products.
  • Contribute to a culture of continuous learning and excellence by sharing knowledge and best practices.
  • Monitor key data metrics and assist in preparing reports and recommendations for ongoing improvement.
  • Adhere to data governance, permissions, and compliance standards to protect sensitive information.
  • Identify and help resolve data-related issues, optimizing data structures and processes for improved performance.
  • Required Qualifications, Skills, and Capabilities

  • Experience with data and analytics platforms such as Tableau, Alteryx, QlikSense, Instabase, or DataBricks.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to source, analyze, and visualize data sets for actionable outcomes.
  • Understanding of data management principles and best practices in large organizations.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, able to engage with team members and stakeholders.
  • Preferred Qualifications, Skills, and Capabilities

  • Knowledge of data governance, security, and compliance best practices in financial services or similar regulated industries.
  • Experience in cash payments, finance, or operations environments.
  • Exposure to machine learning, artificial intelligence, or integrating data solutions into business applications.
  • Interest in process improvement and solving data, process, or finance challenges.
