Lead Robotic Process Automation projects for Markets and Prime Brokerage Settlements and Asset Servicing, and drive programs to push changes to core technology platforms. Facilitate large-scale business process reengineering, ensure controls and compliance, and leverage AI/ML to enhance analytics and operational efficiency. Develop complex SQL queries for better data sources, provide guidance to junior developers, and represent Intelligent Automation to operations and technology stakeholders while expanding automation tools and the team's strategic roadmap. This role requires up to 10% travel and is based in Jersey City, NJ.

DESCRIPTION:
Duties: Drive Robotic Process automation projects for Markets and Prime Brokerage Settlements and Asset Servicing functions. Drive programs of work responsible for pushing changes to core technology platforms. Facilitate large scale business process reengineering efforts. Ensure proper controls and compliance with all development work. Leverage AI/Machine Learning technologies to enhance analytics, improve decision- making processes, and increase the efficiency of operational workflow. Develop complex SQL queries to build improved data sources for operations users. Provide guidance to junior developers on the team to ensure project completeness. Represent the Intelligent Automation team to operations and technology stakeholders. Provide automation tool and coding training to teammates and citizen developers in operations. Continuously develop and refine the Intelligent Automation team's strategic roadmap. Aid in the decision-making of which new tools/technologies should be adopted into operations processes.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum education and experience required: Master's degree in Economics, International Business, Finance, or related field of study plus 2 years of experience in the job offered or as Operations Automation, Intelligence Solutions, AI/ML Lead, Strategy & Risk Management Analyst, Securities Settlement Analyst, or related occupation. The employer will alternatively accept a Bachelor's degree in Economics, International Business, Finance, or related field of study plus 5 years of experience in the job offered or as Operations Automation, Intelligence Solutions, AI/ML Lead, Strategy & Risk Management Analyst, Securities Settlement Analyst, or related occupation.
Skills Required: This position requires experience with the following: End to end lifecycle of Robotic Process Automation projects; Robotic Process Automation tools and frameworks including UiPath and Robotics Re- Framework, Alteryx, SQL, Python, and Tableau; Post Trade processes including Trade Settlements, Trade Matching, Reconciliations, Reporting, Asset Servicing for Mandatory and Voluntary events, Income events for dividend and coupons, and Fail and Break remediation related to Settlements and Asset Servicing; Financial Services and Fintech tools including Impact and Cognos; SQL and Python; multi-functional and matrixed business process reengineering with more than 100 impacted individuals; Applied AI/ML use case identification for financial operations; using DTCC, Euroclear, and BNY; and Agile and Scrum methodologies for development and JIRA.
