As a Senior Associate Data Owner on the Cards Data & Analytics team, you will lead data strategy, governance and quality for Card products (Rewards). You will define metadata, data standards, and requirements to ensure data accuracy, completeness and timeliness and support analytics integrations. The role requires resolving data issues, driving improvements in data protection and quality, and partnering with Business, Technology, Analytics, Operations and Risk. Strong subject matter expertise in product data, cloud/big data technologies and stakeholder management is required.

As a Data Owner in Cards Data & Analytics team, you will drive business growth and innovation by ensuring Card product data is high-quality, well-protected, and fit for purpose. You will collaborate across teams to deliver data solutions that support business objectives and analytics outcomes. Your leadership will help shape the future of data-driven decision making at JPMorgan Chase.

Job responsibilities

  • Develop and execute plans for Card product data to support strategic objectives, analytics, and reporting
  • Provide subject matter expertise on Card data content and usage within the business
  • Identify and document critical data scope, meaning, and classification with appropriate metadata
  • Support analytics initiatives by identifying data required for integration into analytics platforms
  • Define and coordinate requirements for data accuracy, completeness, and timeliness
  • Resolve data issues and drive improvements in data quality and protection
  • Build strong relationships with partners across Business, Technology, Analytics, Operations, and Risk

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field with atleast 8  years of overall work experience
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in a data-related role
  • Experience managing delivery across multiple workstreams
  • Subject matter expertise in business or product data or processes
  • Technical knowledge of data management, engineering, modeling, architecture, and governance
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Google, Azure) or big data technologies (Hadoop, Spark, Alteryx, Snowflake)
  • Strong communication skills with ability to articulate complex concepts to senior audiences

Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • Master’s degree
  • Credit Card domain knowledge
  • Experience with Agile development methodology
  • Proven ability to execute via internal partnerships
