Lead data strategy and governance for the Credit Card product line, ensuring data quality, protection, and compliant usage to enable business outcomes. We have an exciting opportunity for you to lead data strategy and governance within our Credit Card team, driving impactful business outcomes.

As a Co-Brand Data Owner Lead in the Consumer and Community Bank Credit Card team, you enable innovation through strategic data use while ensuring data quality and protection. You coordinate data sourcing and usage across domains, serve as a member of the Product leadership team, and foster collaboration to support business objectives.

Job responsibilities

  • Define and execute strategy for product data development and delivery to support business objectives, operations, analytics, and reporting
  • Build collaborative partnerships with stakeholders to prioritize and document critical product data, ensuring proper classification and metadata management
  • Direct development of processes to identify, monitor, and mitigate data risks, including protection, retention, storage, use, and quality
  • Ensure compliance with firmwide policies, standards, and procedures related to data integrity and protection
  • Develop and maintain relationships with data delivery partners and consumers across business, technology, analytics, operations, risk, and control functions
  • Demonstrate governance by tracking workstreams, managing KPIs, prioritizing deliverables, addressing risks, and ensuring successful delivery
  • Provide leadership, coaching, and career development guidance to a team of data professionals, fostering a high-performance culture
  • Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Bachelor’s degree and ten years of industry experience in a data-related field
  • Minimum 10 years of work experience
  • Proficiency in data querying and manipulation using technologies such as SQL and Python
  • Demonstrated ability to manage tight delivery timelines across multiple workstreams
  • Proven ability to execute through successful internal partnerships and influence across job functions
  • Excellent leadership skills in managing products, programs, projects, teams, or employees
  • Understanding of agile technological development methodology
  • Ability to manage a team toward execution milestones and mitigate risks, bottlenecks, and inefficiencies in the product development lifecycle
  • Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Master’s degree
  • Technical knowledge of data engineering, data pipelines, data modeling, and data architecture
  • Deep subject matter expertise in Credit Card area
  • Drive data strategy and governance for Credit Card products, enabling innovation and ensuring data quality and protection.
