KKR is seeking an experienced Snowflake developer to join its Corporate Finance Technology team. The role involves developing data models and applications within Snowflake, collaborating with business stakeholders globally to enhance reporting capabilities. TECHNOLOGY ORGANIZATION OVERVIEW

KKR’s Technology team is responsible for building and supporting the firm’s technological foundation including a globally distributed infrastructure, information security, and the application and data platforms. The team drives a culture of technology excellence across the firm through efficient workflow automation, democratization of data through modern data and collaboration platforms, and more recently through research and development of Generative AI based tools and services. Technology is regarded as a key business enabler at KKR and is an important accelerator to drive towards global scale creation and business process transformation. The Technology team consists of highly technical and business-centric technologists with the ability to form strong partnerships across all of our businesses. A dedicated Program Management function along with the Product Managers drive execution discipline across multiple technology teams with a goal to consistently deliver excellence serving our business needs.

POSITION SUMMARY

KKR is looking to add an experienced Snowflake developer to its growing Corporate Finance Technology team. As a Snowflake developer, you will be leveraging your expert knowledge on Snowflake architecture and frameworks to help develop the data models within KKR’s Snowflake instance and related data applications supporting our business teams across segments and regions. This will involve working closely with the business stakeholders, leadership, and technology peers to identify, develop and deploy new reporting capability across multiple business units globally. This role is highly visible and will come with the opportunity to identify, own, and execute creative product solutions for a best of breed reporting experience that will also enable KKR to rapidly scale and enhance its operational reporting.

The candidate obsesses about making product experiences intuitive and prioritizes the users’ best interest in decisions. Our perfect candidate also will have strong bias for action and pays close attention to detail, ensuring that we deliver results and impact on the client and end-user experience.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology or other technology related field (or equivalent work experience)
• 4+ years of in data engineering experience in Snowflake focused on data modeling and SQL development
• Strong to advanced SQL skills, Python, Jave and other programming languages
• Knowledge of Finance Industry and Financial reporting is critical
• Demonstrated strength in data modeling, SQL development, data wrangling and data warehousing
• Knowledge in analyzing complex data patterns and optimize data storage and retrieval
• Ensuring data accuracy and quality is paramount in this role
• As Snowflake continues to evolve, it is important keep up with new features and best practices

CRITICAL COMPETENCIES FOR SUCCESS

• Develop, manage & support a best-in-class data platform built on Snowflake
• Work closely with business users to understand business needs and translate them into data solutions
• Building and maintaining end-to-end data pipelines, from source systems to end consumers primarily in Power BI & Tableau
• Proven experience with data migration projects, especially to Snowflake
• Ensure strict compliance with security and organizational standards are maintained within the boundaries of the data platform
• Exceptional project management skills with the ability to multi-task several projects on tight deadlines, while maintaining attention to detail
• Align and add to the culture and overall vision/mission of the team
