FI Reference team role focused on collection, maintenance and analysis of high-quality reference and pricing content for Fixed Income clients. The incumbent will interpret client queries, provide explanations, perform corrections and improvements to content, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to onboard or migrate data. The role emphasizes data quality, root-cause analysis, and delivering timely content for Refinitiv products while enhancing customer experience.
FI Reference team is responsible for collection, maintenance, analysis and dissemination of high-quality reference and pricing content for Fixed Income clients using Eikon, DataScope and other products. The profile pertains to project deliveries and working on strategic initiatives to either onboard content or migrate existing content. The FI Reference group covers vast asset classes within Fixed Income, - International Bond market consisting of non-securitized Eurobonds and Global USD debt. Market instruments including Government & Corp Bonds, - Domestic markets for non-securitized Fixed Income securities in North America, Great Britain & Ireland. The Service team will handle queries that are posted for FI Reference Content.
Purpose of this role is to use subject matter expertise, skills and specific knowledge within the FI Reference content to provide explanation, guidance and make necessary corrections/improvements in the content to support client queries/concerns. It is a role which requires advanced knowledge of Terms and conditions. The incumbent will be responsible to analyze client queries, share results and suggest improvement areas and play active role in reducing data corrected SRs and overall customer experience. Active and successful collaboration with various internal teams from business representatives to development teams is central to the role. This role will suit candidates who are technically minded and self-driven, with a thirst for discovering new areas and applying technical and content knowledge to new data. The successful candidate is expected to work on new data implementation with guidance.
Essential Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Reciprocate the queries received through chat room, service cloud and emails
- Conduct detailed investigation and respond if it is a search and explanation queries and make basic corrections in case of DC cases which require short time to fix.
- Liaise with Production teams to get queries resolved.
- Gathering, analyzing and applying information to existing databases; supporting the development of new databases
- Ensures effective communication of information relevant to own area of responsibility re: changes, developments, news.
- Have a thorough understanding of C2C standards and conduct audits from time to time and uphold those standards with the team.
- Ensures the quality and time-efficient production of financial information to F&R (Refinitiv) products.
- Responds to data queries from both internal and external clients and provides support to stakeholders.
- Facilitate problem solving on data and product issues, including database infrastructure and maintenance procedures knowing who to involve and when.
- Works with and involves cross functional teams to provide Root Cause Analysis to identify solutions in problem areas.
- Identifies potential data improvements and consults with content Specialist for possible implementation.
- Effectively maintains and manages relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Contribute to RCAs to be provided to the quality team
- Research new and review existing sources to ensure that quality, timeliness and completeness scores are improved
Qualification/ Skills:
- Knowledge of FI and Municipal Content is desirable.
- Excellent time-keeping, ability to work to deadlines and manage under pressure is a must.
- Excellent communication skills, oral and written, including customer-focused behavior and ethics.
- Precision, thoroughness, stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Individual accountability and team ethics.
- Knowledge on the working of service cloud and incident management.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential, as is an ability to work under the pressure of tight deadlines.
- Knowledge on Financial markets, with strong focus on Bonds and cash instruments
- Experience with writing documents and creating MOWs for effective content management
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
- Well versed with MS Office applications especially MS Excel.
