The Senior Specialist serves as the technical authority for enterprise-scale Power Platform, Azure, and AI solutions, owning architecture, governance, and complex integrations. It drives platform standards, designs scalable solution patterns, and leads end-to-end Copilot and Responsible AI implementations. The role partners across teams to ensure performance, cost efficiency, resiliency, and compliance while mentoring engineers and resolving the most critical technical escalations. It also encompasses complex integrations and architecture reviews to enable scalable enablement across the group.
The Senior Specialist serves as a technical authority for enterprise-scale Power Platform, Azure, and AI solutions — owning architecture, governance, and complex integrations across the organization. This role drives platform standards, designs scalable and reliable solution patterns, and leads end‑to‑end Copilot and Responsible AI implementations. Partnering across teams, the Senior Specialist ensures performance, cost efficiency, resiliency, and compliance while mentoring engineering talent and resolving the most critical technical escalations.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Leadership
- Act as solution owner for cross-team/enterprise initiatives; design reference architectures for Power Platform + Azure integration.
- Design Dataverse based data models and reusable patterns for data model scale.
AI & Responsible AI
- Architect and guide end-to-end Copilot Agent solutions: retrieval strategies, evaluation frameworks, safety/guardrails, and human-in-the-loop designs.
- Define standards for AI prompt/version control, eval pipelines, and quality/compliance sign-off.
Platform Architecture & Governance
- Drive best practices: DLP policies, environment topology, solution architecture guidelines, naming conventions, and developer experience.
- Design / Develop custom connectors, reusable libraries, and shared components; ensure multi-tenant and multi-geo considerations where applicable.
Performance, Cost & Reliability
- Lead performance tuning and optimization across Power Apps, flows, APIs, and analytics workloads.
- Set and monitor SLOs/SLAs; design resiliency, DR, and backup/restore strategies.
Complex Delivery & Integration
- Oversee and collaborate with multiple teams for complex integrations (Oracle/Salesforce/ServiceNow) when required.
Thought Leadership & Enablement
- Run design reviews and challenging architectural decisions, mentor Senior Engineers and Engineers.
- Evaluate new technologies and platform capabilities; run PoC; guide platform roadmap; lead enablement across the group.
Escalations
- Handle the hardest technical escalations and production incidents, lead postmortems and systemic fixes.
Crucial Skills:
- 8+ years of experience in data extraction, analysis, and reporting.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Superb communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to prioritize multiple reporting tasks and meet targets.
Education and Professional Skills:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
- Professional certifications in: Power Platform, Power BI, Azure, Azure AI is preferred.
