Lead the design and governance of Macquarie's AI architecture to enable safe, scalable AI adoption across the organization. Define reference patterns, roadmaps, and best practices for deploying AI models, and partner with senior leaders to deliver measurable business outcomes. Ensure governance, privacy, and security are embedded throughout the AI lifecycle and guide tooling and platform choices. This is a senior, enterprise-level role based in Sydney with flexible working arrangements.

- Extensive experience in data architecture and governance, with a proven ability to design secure and scalable data platforms that support AI and analytics
- Strong understanding of enterprise data modelling and knowledge representation, enabling data to be AI-ready
- Practical expertise with modern cloud data and AI technologies, including containers, serverless computing, and event-driven architectures
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across varied teams and influence stakeholders at all levels
- Demonstrated leadership in building AI platforms or agent-based systems, and experience driving change programmes that deliver tangible business value.
