- Proven experience in data architecture and engineering roles, both independently and as part of large-scale initiatives
- Deep expertise in modern cloud platforms (AWS preferred), including data lakes, warehouses, and streaming architectures
- Strong knowledge of cloud-native services (e.g., Redshift, S3, Glue, EMR, Kinesis) and modern data engineering tools
- Understanding of data governance, quality management, security best practices, and emerging paradigms (data mesh/fabric)
- Awareness of AI/ML and Generative AI use cases enabled by robust data architecture
- Exceptional ability to simplify complexity and inspire confidence across technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Strong bias for action with a focus on delivering measurable business results
- Experience with data modelling techniques and tools like ERWIN in cloud environments is valuable.
