Join Danske Bank's centralized Data Governance & Data Quality function as a Data Quality Specialist responsible for shaping how data quality is measured, monitored, and improved across the bank. You will implement and support data quality tooling (Collibra DQ & Observability), develop and maintain DQ frameworks, and build monitoring dashboards in Tableau while training teams on best practices. The role involves collaborating with distributed delivery teams to raise data quality maturity and ensure consistency across domains. Location is Vilnius with hybrid work, and the role does not include relocation.

Danske Bank Group is expanding its centralized Data Governance & Data Quality function and is hiring Data Quality Specialists to support the bank’s enterprise-wide data quality strategy. 

These roles sit within a centralized data governance team and focus on defining tooling, frameworks, standards, and guidance to improve data quality across the organisation. Implementation is delivered by distributed teams (“tribes”), while this role provides governance, enablement, training, and oversight. 

You will play a key role in shaping how data quality is measured, monitored, and improved across the bank. 

The workplace is located in Vilnius. Danske Bank supports workplace flexibility (we currently use a hybrid work model, where we work at least 3 days in the office).

This role does not include a relocation allowance.

You will:

  • Assist with the implementation of data quality tools, contributing with practical experience in the architecture of data quality systems
  • Participate in the execution of established DQ frameworks and guidelines, contributing to the maintenance and continuous improvement of data quality processes
  • Collaborate closely with the numerous distributed implementation teams to help them deliver and ensure consistency across domains to continuously improve data quality maturity across the bank
  • Develop expertise in the Group's Data Quality tool (Collibra Data Quality & Observability) to onboard users across the Group and support rule building in a consistent and sustainable manner
  • Train, enable and guide teams across the organisation in DQ best practices and using tools to increase productivity and drive operational efficiency
  • Build and maintain DQ monitoring reports and dashboards using Tableau
  • Provides advice on data quality best practices to data steward and other data role holders

About you:

  • Hands-on experience with an enterprise DQ tool (Collibra Data Quality & Observability would be beneficial)
  • Experience working with DQ solutions, architecture and integrations within a data management setting
  • Experience in working in a federated data management implementation approach (central governance with distributed delivery)
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Ability to define, assess, and monitor data quality rules and metrics
  • Strong experience in data quality and data governance
  • Self-driven, proactive, and comfortable taking ownership
  • Seasoned professional individual contributor
  • Advanced skills in English

Monthly salary range from 3680 EUR to 5520 EUR gross (based on your competencies relevant for the job).
