You will join Danske Bank's Decision Modelling team as an Experienced Data Scientist focused on data exploration, SQL and Python to design, build and migrate decision flows for faster, more transparent credit decisions. You will analyse credit data, transform data to automate processes, and collaborate with risk, credit, IT and business stakeholders to deliver customer-centric solutions. The role blends data science with data engineering tasks to connect technical applications with the customer journey, enabling smoother operations and improved loan decisions. The position is based in Vilnius, Lithuania with a hybrid schedule (up to 2 days per week from home).

As an experienced Data Scientist with a strong interest in data exploration and engineering, you will work alongside a skilled team to design, build and migrate decision flows, enhancing credit granting processes to deliver fast, transparent and customer-focused outcomes.
You will join Decision Modelling, a team of 60 professionals based in Copenhagen and Vilnius. We have a collaborative and inclusive environment with a flat structure and an informal atmosphere, enabling you to thrive and contribute your best.
This role offers flexibility with a hybrid working model, where you can work up to 2 days per week from home.

You will:
- Design and optimise decision flows from start to finish, driving smarter automation, better customer advisory and reducing credit risk
- Analyse and profile credit data to ensure top-quality and reliable information
- Transform and work with data to automate processes and create seamless, customer-focused experiences
- Collaborate with a variety of stakeholders- including customers, risk, credit, IT and business teams- to deliver solutions that truly make a difference
- Connect technical applications with the customer journey, ensuring processes are smooth, efficient and customer centric
About you:
- 2+ years of experience working with SQL and Python- you know how to make data work for you, with precision and creativity
- A degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Programming, Statistics or a related field
- A strong attention to detail and commitment to identify root causes of problems, ensuring accuracy and reliability in every aspect of your work
- Driven by data exploration, transformation and delivering high-quality insights that drive progress
- Solid communication skills as you can clearly explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences and promote collaboration
- Confidence in managing stakeholders across diverse teams, building connections, and delivering results together
- Upper-Intermediate in English, both written and spoken, with a professional and engaging communication style
- Knowledge of Azure DevOps pipelines, Docker and/or OpenShift (would be beneficial)

Monthly salary range from 3440 EUR to 5160 EUR gross (based on your competencies relevant for the job).
