Product Owner responsible for the development of a Data Platform within Danske Bank's Personal Customers transformation. You will lead a squad of engineers and data professionals to deliver a modern data platform underpinning customer-centric banking services, with a move towards AWS Databricks. You will ensure data quality, governance and secure data distribution while coordinating with data owners and stakeholders across the bank. The role requires extensive experience in product ownership and data platforms, bridging legacy environments to contemporary data architectures.

Include, being responsible for the drive and delivery of the work the team delivers.Ensure high quality and timely delivery of assetsWork closely together with system & data owners to enable data across throughout the data landscape.Lead the team who develops the Data Platform supporting Personal Customer use-casesManage stakeholders across the bank who work closely with data, platforms and development hereofSpearhead the conversion of the PC platform and the group wide data platformWork with other business areas across Personal Customers to ensure bank wide data availability.Align data to the bank’s regulatory, governance, security & management frameworks to ensure E2E compliant data development.Be expected to help colleagues and yourself to learn and grow in the roles and adopt new technologies as the technical landscape changes.What we imagine you bring;We see you have extensive experience with Product Ownership, Data Platform Development and many Data Disciplines. also, relevant tooling from previous roles.You are familiar with data platform concepts and associated terminology like delta lakes, event-driven architectures, real time processing, data governance, data quality, security, compliance.Furthermore you

The Personal Customers business unit in Danske Bank is standing in front of a large transformation spanning multiple areas across the business all of which are heavily reliant on a solid, sustainable and secure data distribution. This foundation will be instrumental for the bank in reaching the strategic Forward’28 goals promised to the market in 2023 all meant to ensure a better banking experience and better banking products across all of our customers.The Customer Engagement Individuals tribe exists with the customer at the centre of everything. The tribe has ownership of key customer facing systems spanning across Danske Bank’s channels and capabilities. The Tribe consists of a wide range of profiles (Data Analysts, Data Engineers, Business Functional Specialists, Architects, UI/UX Designers and much more) and nationalities (Nordics wide, Lithuania, Indian & more.) which we leverage to ensure solutions are the best they can be for our customers.You will be joining the Customer Engagement Individuals Tribe as a Product Owner with responsibility of the work delivered by, and together with, Engineers, Business Functional Specialists, Architects and more. In our department you will gain approximately 160 colleagues where you will lead one of the squads who will help enable Danske Bank to get ready for the next generation of banking services.This will first and foremost be achieved through creation of a data platform underpinning transformation of banking services currently ongoing while getting ready for merging into a group wide data platform on AWS Databricks. These transformations include making sure all our customers are served with proactive and personalized offers, content, knowledge and more to make sure we build a long-lasting relationship with our customers who will experience that their bank really understands their needs.Data is a significant enabler of this strategy, and we will allow for commercial teams to develop data products and system owners to trust they receive high quality data, enabling their required downstream functionality.
