Participate in the complete lifecycle of projects from design to delivery of Advanced Planning Systems (APS) solutions for clients across industries and geographies, specializing in SAP IBP and Kinaxis software implementations, advanced planning analytics, and machine learning solutions. Build relationships with clients through cross-functional supply chain consulting projects, including aggregating and managing data to support software implementation and maintenance, and support implementation efforts with analytics, project planning, communication, and tactical assistance around SAP IBP and Kinaxis modules such as sales & operations planning, demand, inventory, and supply & response. You will utilize data collection tools and analytics methodologies for advanced supply chain analysis, interpreting data on trends, optimization, and forecasting to provide recommendations to clients, and collaborating with project leads, system architects, partners, and client teams to develop best practices and optimize reports and models. Based in Madrid as part of MSC-X: the analytics wing of McKinsey's Manufacturing and Supply Chain practice, with opportunities to travel to client locations to design and implement advanced digital planning solutions.

Your qualifications and skills
- Undergraduate degree in science, engineering, mathematics, or business; or master’s degree in supply chain optimization / operation research / industrial engineering is preferred
- 2+ years of experience in supply chain or a related field
- SAP IBP/APO, Kinaxis, Blue Yonder or o9 experience is required
- Good understanding of supply chain planning and demand planning, inventory optimization, or operational supply chain fundamentals
- Familiarity with supply chain data and supply chain data systems
- Familiarity with tech implementation and solution deployment
- Familiarity with data extraction, data transformation, analytics, and visualization tools
- Exposure to advanced optimization techniques such as mixed integer linear programming, statistical analyses, and machine learning
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
