Senior Product Manager to lead and shape a durable, privacy-conscious data platform that ingests an expanding set of data signals across Microsoft products (Office, Windows, Microsoft 365, Xbox, Security, Cloud + AI). You will collaborate with product teams to surface these signals through meaningful insights, models, and reports to help teams run and grow their businesses. The role focuses on ML/AI capabilities of the data platform and developing tools for machine learning scientists, data scientists, and product managers, including integrating latest features from Microsoft Fabric.

Responsibilities
  • You will influence, own, and build a durable, high quality, privacy-compliant data platform that covers an ever-increasing number of data signals across Office, Windows, Microsoft 365, Xbox, Security, and Cloud +AI in order to power hundreds of business-critical scenarios across all of Microsoft.
  • You will collaborate with product teams and scenario owners to surface these signals through meaningful insights, models, and reports that help them run and grow their businesses.
  • You will focus on the ML/AI capabilities of the data platform and how to build the next generation of tools needed by machine learning scientists, data scientists, and product managers across the company, as well as how we incorporate the latest features from Microsoft Fabric.


Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree AND 5+ years experience in product/service/program management or software development
    • OR equivalent experience.

Other Requirements:
Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:

Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree AND 8+ years experience in product/service/program management or software development
    • OR equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years experience taking a product, feature, or experience to market (e.g., design, addressing product market fit, and launch, internal tool/framework).
  • 4+ years experience improving product metrics for a product, feature, or experience in a market (e.g., growing customer base, expanding customer usage, avoiding customer churn).
  • 4+ years experience disrupting a market for a product, feature, or experience (e.g., competitive disruption, taking the place of an established competing product).

Product Management IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $119,800 - $234,700 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $158,400 - $258,000 per year.
