Join a systematic trading team as a Developer to design, develop and support applications for data collection, analytics and trading. Work directly with portfolio managers, traders and quants to load data from multiple sources, build monitoring and real-time streaming analytics, create APIs, and develop testing frameworks. Main technologies include KDB+/Q, Git, Gradle and Linux. Requires a Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Mathematics or related, with strong ownership, communication and teamwork skills.

Developer - Systematic Trading

We are seeking a Developer to join one of Millennium’s long standing & successful Trading teams, currently comprising of 18. This role will design, develop and support a strategic set of applications for data collection, analytics and trading for this systematic team.

Principal Responsibilities

• Work directly with PMs, traders and quants to support and enhance system

• Load data from multiple external and internal sources

• Build monitoring system to proactively spot any data issues

• Create APIs for the business to access data

• Develop streaming analytics and real-time monitoring

• Develop testing framework

• Continual improvement of existing codebase

Main technologies: KDB+/Q, Git, Gradle, Linux.

Qualifications/Skills Required

• Master or Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics or related area

• Knowledge of Q/KDB+ is an advantage

• Familiarity with Linux is preferred

• Quick learner, Detail oriented; Demonstrable thoroughness and strong ownership of work

• Good team player with a strong willingness to participate and help others

• Able to prioritize in a fast moving, high pressure, constantly changing environment; High sense of urgency

• Strong communication skills
