Role Overview

As a Data Engineer supporting the Institutional Securities Business, you will be a leader in building a data platform that exposes KPIs calculated from data from all parts of the organization. You will collaborate with teams across the firm, design, build, and optimize data pipelines that enable advanced analytics and business insights into our Institutional Securities business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver data insights and key business metrics in the form of tools and reports to COOs, Business Management. Projects include maintenance and development of new features.
  • Develop and maintain data pipelines, ETL processes, and data models to support business needs.
  • Optimize data workflows for performance and reliability in distributed environments.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement scalable data solutions.
  • Implement data governance, security, and recovery mechanisms.
  • Support technical infrastructure for data engineering solutions.

Requirements

  • Education: CS or related education, knowledge of data structures, algorithms, OOP
  • 5-8 years experience with data engineering and distributed computing
  • Experience with distributed computing frameworks (e.g., Spark, Hadoop) or cloud platforms (SnowFlake, AWS) is an advantage.
  • Experience in IT operations is an advantage.
