Join MSCI’s Total Plan Managed Services team to ensure the accuracy, integrity, and reliability of client data across PCS platforms. You will oversee automated data feeds, respond to client data inquiries, validate fund- and portfolio-level data, and communicate findings to colleagues. You will collaborate with data engineering, onboarding, and client service teams to improve workflows and leverage AI tools to automate data processing and task execution. This role blends data operations with technology to support timely reporting and high-quality service for clients.

Your Team Responsibilities

As a member of MSCI’s Total Plan Managed Services team, you will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and reliability of data across a diverse client base that relies on MSCI’s PCS client platforms. The team is dedicated to delivering seamless data integration from multiple sources, proactively resolving client inquiries with a managed-services mindset, and maintaining high standards of quality control and platform performance. Through this work, we help clients feel supported, informed, and confident in their investment decisions.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and maintain automated data feeds, processing key data points such as market values and cash flows. You will troubleshoot issues as they arise and develop a strong working knowledge of PCS client platforms, including Total Plan Manager and Private I.
  • Act as a daily point of contact for client data inquiries, ensuring timely responses and on-time delivery of monthly reporting obligations.
  • Validate fund- and portfolio-level data to ensure completeness and accuracy across core metrics, including valuations, cash flows, and return calculations.
  • Clearly communicate data issues, trends, and insights to colleagues and managers, while supporting ad hoc requests as assigned.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data engineering, onboarding, and client service, to identify workflow enhancements and recommend process or policy improvements.
  • Leverage AI-powered tools and platforms on a daily basis to streamline data processing, analysis, and decision-making.
  • Continuously evaluate and integrate emerging AI capabilities to automate repetitive tasks and enhance service delivery.

Your skills and experience that will help you excel

  • Undergraduate degree in Finance, Information Systems, Accounting, or Economics (Honours degree preferred).
  • 1–3 years of relevant professional experience in a related field.
  • Strong interest in process automation, tool enhancements, and the application of technology to financial data.
  • Demonstrated interest in Big Data, Financial Markets, Accounting Principles, and Automation; partnership or investment accounting experience is an advantage.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, Conditional Formatting, complex formulas, and data transformation.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet reporting deadlines, and adapt to changing requirements.
  • Team-oriented mindset with a professional, collaborative, and respectful approach to working with colleagues.
