We are looking for a Senior Data Analyst to join the Software Architecture Team.
In this role, you will play a crucial part in promoting data-driven decision-making and contribute to shaping the future of Data Center monitoring and management solutions throughout the company.
Your responsibilities will encompass analyzing large data sets of NVIDIA data-center solutions, constructing advanced dashboards, and delving deeply into the meaning, values, and correlations within the data.
What you’ll be doing:
- Strategic Translation: Convert high-level executive briefings and ambiguous business needs into actionable analytical roadmaps.
- Large-Scale Data Orchestration: Architect and analyze data flows from global-scale Data Centers, delivering high-impact narratives to partners and technical stakeholders.
- Data Lake Evolution: Direct the continuous expansion of centralized Data Lake and Analytics tools capabilities, ensuring data integrity and scalability.
- Technical Mentorship: Serve as a North Star for the analytics community, mentoring junior analysts.
- Best Practice Governance: Influence and codify organization-wide analytics standards, ensuring every output meets the highest bar visual sophistication.
- Tooling Visionary: Shape the future of our internal analytics stack, identifying gaps and integrating tools that keep NVIDIA at the cutting edge of observability.
What we need to see:
- BSc. / MSc. in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
- 4+ years of hands-on experience in data engineering and large-scale analytics.
- Architectural SQL Mastery: Expert-level proficiency in SQL with a deep understanding of query optimization and data modeling within massive, distributed environments.
- Visual Excellence: A "designer’s eye" for data - proven experience with Superset, Tableau, or Power BI where you don't just "make charts," but craft intuitive, aesthetically refined, and cognitively efficient interfaces.
- High-Level Programming: Robust software development experience (Python, Go) focused on building scalable, production-grade data tools and automation.
- Big Data Ecosystem Expertise: Extensive hands-on seniority with modern platforms including Spark, Databricks, and the surrounding cloud-native data ecosystem.
- Evidence-Based Influence: A track record of using data to shift organizational strategy, demonstrating an obsession with performance measurement and optimization.
- Master Storytelling: The ability to distill petabytes of complexity into clear, compelling visual narratives that command attention in a boardroom.
Ways to stand out from the crowd:
- Rapid Prototyping: A proven ability to build "Zero-to-One" prototypes that visualize complex hardware/software interactions and prove immediate business value.
- Cloud-Native Leadership: Deep familiarity with Kubernetes, Docker, and CI/CD methodologies within a data engineering context.
- Tier-1 Cloud Experience: Advanced experience optimizing data solutions specifically for AWS, GCP, or Azure environments.
- Domain Expertise: Prior experience in High-Performance Computing (HPC) or large-scale Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) analytics groups.
