NVIDIA is seeking a Senior Software Developer to design, develop, and implement reliable automations, data workflows, and pipelines for our data center operations. You will write high-performance Python, build and run data pipelines using SQL and ETL tools, and operate automated systems in production. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate systems, diagnose issues, and implement fixes, using APIs, version control (Git), Jira and Confluence, with a focus on scalability, security, and performance.

You are a Senior Software Developer wanting to join NVIDIA’s data center operations team to automate and scale our operations workflows.

What you’ll be doing:

You will play a critical role in designing, developing, and implementing reliable and efficient automations, workflows, and data pipelines for our operations platforms. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Writing high-performance, reliable, and maintainable code in Python.

  • Building and running data pipelines using SQL and various ETL tools.

  • Operating and maintaining automated systems and software in production environments.

  • Collaborating with teams to integrate systems, diagnose issues, and implement fixes.

  • Using the APIs of a diverse range of platforms to facilitate automation and data processes.

  • Tracking and documenting changes and updates using version control systems, like Git.

  • Interacting with Jira and Confluence for project management tracking, workflows, and documentation.

  • Continuously improving our systems for scalability, security, and performance.

What we need to see:

  • Expertise in API integrations, workflow automation, and data analysis.

  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced team environment.

  • Proven problem-solving skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

  • Portfolio of previous work demonstrating your experience and expertise.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • 5+ years of software development experience, particularly with Python and SQL.

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field or equivalent experience.

Ways to standout from the crowd:

  • Experience with Kratos, PowerBI, Prometheus, and Grafana.

  • Certifications in Python, SQL, or related technologies – especially as they relate to data analytics

  • A proactive and innovative approach with a strong desire to improve existing operations and workflows, especially through KPIs.

  • You have previously identified missing or inefficient processes, improved and implemented them across multiple teams spanning large matrix organizations.

  • Previous experience with scaled infrastructure systems, including coordinating activities between hardware and software teams and active participation in relevant professional or open-source communities and active participation in relevant professional or open-source communities.

Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions. The base salary range is 168,000 USD - 270,250 USD.
