About this Opportunity
We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Head of Business Intelligence (BI) to lead our BI function. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing data strategies, analytics frameworks, and performance monitoring systems to drive data-driven decision-making across the organization. This role requires a deep understanding—or strong interest—in the crypto market, market localization and expansion, and business intelligence tools.
- Define and implement a comprehensive BI strategy aligned with company objectives.
- Lead the BI team in building scalable data architectures and reporting systems.
- Develop dashboards and north star metrics to guide strategic direction and track business performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product, Engineering, BD, CS, Marketing, and Compliance to generate actionable insights.
- Oversee data governance, quality assurance, and compliance with industry regulations.
- Leverage AI, machine learning, and advanced analytics to:
- Develop new sales leads
- Understand marketing trends and sentiment
- Generate user insights
- Enhance risk management strategies
- Identify market trends, user behaviors, and trading patterns to uncover growth opportunities and mitigate potential risks

- Present data-driven insights and strategic recommendations to executive leadership.
- Stay updated on the latest BI tools, analytics methodologies, and blockchain technologies.
- Build, mentor, and scale a high-performing BI team while fostering a data-first culture across the organization.
- Developing alerts, anomaly detection systems, and predictive signals to identify emerging issues early and proactively raising critical risks to leadership with clear context and recommendations.
- Ensure reliable, compliant, and consistent analytics across multi-region data centers, enabling the Business Intelligence team to operate with a single, trusted view of the business.
What We Look For In You:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from a globally recognized, top-tier university.
- 8+ years of experience in BI, data analytics, or a related field, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Strong self-learning capability, ownership mindset, and adaptability to fast-paced environments.
- Proven experience in the crypto, finance, or internet industry.
- Strong grasp of blockchain analytics, on-chain data, and crypto market dynamics.
- Demonstrated success in local market expansion and growth execution, including:
- Channel development
- Campaign upsell/cross-sell
- Paid ad marketing, etc.

- Ability to work cross-functionally and navigate complex stakeholder needs.
- Experience with large-scale data infrastructure and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Alicloud); familiarity with GDPR and multi-region data compliance is a plus.
- Proficiency in BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker) and programming languages (SQL, Python, R).
- Excellent analytical and communication skills, with the ability to turn complex data into clear, actionable insights.
