JOB DESCRIPTION

 About the role

Our Financial Services Technology Data and Resilience (TDR) team helps FS firms navigate a fast‑moving regulatory landscape while managing complex data and technology environments. From shaping data strategies to uplifting their data maturity through enhanced data‑management practices, we combine deep sector insight with leading technology to solve problems alongside our clients.

What your days will look like:

  • Data strategy: develop enterprise‑wide data strategies, policies and operating models; embed sustainable data‑management and AI practices; ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Data governance: improve data quality, lineage and controls; address regulatory gaps; strengthen oversight; support confident reporting, analytics and AI adoption.
  • Transformation: enhance data architecture to support pricing, claims automation, regulatory reporting and customer insights; lead complex change programmes and delivery teams.
  • AI integration: use AI and automation to scale data‑management activities such as data discovery, quality monitoring and policy enforcement.
  • Business development: identify opportunities, provide insights and shape solutions across the full data lifecycle from assessment to implementation and optimisation.
  • Stakeholder management: communicate policies, strategies and regulatory expectations clearly; provide actionable recommendations to business and technology stakeholders.
  • Project leadership: lead engagements and teams, oversee delivery and develop diverse, tech‑enabled teams leveraging AI tools to optimise performance.
  • Change management: support business‑change and risk‑transformation programmes; solve complex technical challenges; drive long‑term improvements in risk and control.
  • Client relationships: build and maintain strong client relationships and identify opportunities to grow engagements.

The role is for you if you have:

  • Expertise in the Insurance or Banking sector, enabling clients to modernise and future‑proof their data capabilities through strategic operating‑model design and implementation of fit‑for‑purpose tools and platforms.
  • Extensive consulting or advisory experience navigating complex, industry‑specific data challenges, including regulatory scrutiny, evolving customer expectations, and legacy operating models.
  • Strong understanding of the data‑governance ecosystem within Insurance or Banking to support strategic and technological transformations that uplift governance capabilities.
  • Knowledge of regulatory drivers such as Solvency II and IFRS 17, alongside data‑management frameworks such as DAMA and DCAM, to help clients shape sustainable data strategies and improve data maturity, governance, and reporting.
  • Familiarity with insurance markets and regulations (e.g., Solvency II, IFRS 17, PRA) and exposure to cloud‑data environments and modern data architectures.

What you’ll receive from us:

No matter where you may be in your career or personal life, our benefits are designed to add value and support, recognising and rewarding you fairly for your contributions.

We offer a range of benefits including empowered flexibility and a working week split between office, home and client site; private medical cover and 24/7 access to a qualified virtual GP; six volunteering days a year and much more.
