As a Data & Application Engineer, you will play a key role in the strategic and operational development of the SPC and SPACE system landscape. You will act as a technical sparring partner for Product Owners, Champions, and stakeholders, and be responsible for implementing innovative data and application solutions. You will lead technical aspects of projects, business cases, and POCs, and design scalable data pipelines and ETL processes. You will also develop user documentation and stay ahead of industry trends in SPC and Data Engineering domains.

As a Data & Application Engineer, you will play a key role in the strategic and operational development of our SPC and SPACE system landscape. You will act as a technical sparring partner for Product Owners, Champions, and stakeholders, and be responsible for implementing innovative data and application solutions.
Minimum Qualifications:
• 3+ years of IT-relevant work experience with a Bachelor's degree.OR
5+ years of IT-relevant work experience without a Bachelor’s degree.
Responsibilities:
• Provide consulting and analysis of business requirements, processes, and system gaps in the SPACE and eCAP domains.
• Design and optimize scalable data pipelines and ETL processes.
• Build and maintain efficient data architectures and infrastructures.
• Collaborate closely with Functional Architects, and Engineers to deliver high performance data solutions.
• Develop and enhance user documentation and training materials.
• Lead technical aspects of projects, business cases, and proof of concepts (POCs).
• Monitor and introduce new technologies and industry trends in the SPC and Data Engineering domains
• Ensure data quality and validation through appropriate services and tools
Your Profile:
• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Engineering/Analytics, Engineering, or a related field
• Strong expertise in:
o Data Engineering & Integration (ETL Services+Tools, Databases, SQL/NSQL)
o Data structures (e.g. XML & XSLT, JSON, YAML)
o One Programming language (e.g. Python, Rust, Java, C++, C#)
• Knowledge of system architecture and interface development
• Experience with SPC tools/software (camLine, JMP, SAS,...) desireable
• Knowledge of SPC methods e.g. statistical methods for production control, control charts, actions plan desireable.
• Strong communication skills, team orientation, and ability to work independently
• Proficiency in English, both written and spoken
