As an Engineer, you will be a hands-on contributor towards building a highly scalable, efficient, and modular data platform to support Autonomous Driving R&D efforts.
The candidate should have high proficiency in Python and experience in building solutions on cloud platforms such as AWS. The candidate will partner across data engineering, product, and safety domains to deliver scalable, secure, and cost-efficient solutions.
Key Responsibilities
· Implement containerized workloads, microservices and highly scalable distributed processing services
· Leverage data and metrics to continuously improve platform user and customer experience
· Leverage AI and ML to enhance platform features and reduce user friction
· Write clean, well-tested, and well-documented code. Participate in code reviews and uphold development best practices.
· Implement Infrastructure as Code (CloudFormation, Terraform or CDK) and CI/CD to ensure repeatable, reliable deployments.
· Build observability (logging, metrics, tracing) and drive performance/cost optimization across services.
· Collaborate within a cross-functional, international team and contribute to agile planning and delivery
- High proficiency in programming using PythonHands-on expertise with AWS services such as S3, Lambda, API Gateway, Step Functions, ECS/EKS, DynamoDB/RDS, IAM, and CloudWatch
- Proficiency with Docker and Kubernetes
- Strong grounding in software engineering practices, including Git, unit and integration testing, code reviews, and CI/CD (e.g., GitHub Actions, AWS Code Build / Code Pipeline).
- Demonstrated problem-solving, debugging, optimization, and performance tuning skills.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.· Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within global, cross-functional teams
· Exposure to running ML experiments or inference tasks on AWS (e.g., using SageMaker), with a willingness to learn best practices for cloud-based ML
· Awareness of agentic AI systems and approaches (such as autonomous agents and LLM orchestration frameworks) and interest in applying these to real-world scenarios
· Proficiency in Java
· Proficiency with data engineering concepts: ETL/ELT, data modeling, and working with both SQL and NoSQL databases.
· Familiarity with big-data tools (Spark, Hive, Presto) for data processing and analytics, or a strong interest in developing these skills.
· Background in ADAS/Autonomous Driving data processing and testing (nice to have)
