Analyse, structure and document customer requirements across a dynamic data landscape while acting as the link between stakeholders, product owners and DevOps teams. Translate business needs into clear technical requirements, functional specifications and acceptance criteria, and participate in testing and validation of data products. Design and maintain enterprise-wide data models (Data Vault, dimensional modelling), map data pipelines and collaborate with architects and engineers to ensure scalable, user-friendly solutions. Drive improvements in business analysis processes and support delivery for many DevOps teams.

- Salary: Gross monthly salary between EUR 4,931 and EUR 7,043 (scale 09) for a 36-hour work week.

You & your role
Work on analysing, structuring and documenting customer requirements within a dynamic data landscape. As a Business (Data) Analyst, you are the link between stakeholders, the product owner and the DevOps team. You translate functional and technical requirements into concrete solutions and ensure robust documentation. In this role, you work closely with various teams and contribute to achieving Rabobank’s data-driven ambitions. Someone who can find the right people, takes initiative, and turns scattered details into a clear information.
Top responsibilities
- Stakeholder Management in a Complex Organization: Engage with multiple business units, data producers, and consumers across a complex, interconnected organizational structure. Act as the connector to ensure smooth communication and alignment throughout the data product lifecycle.
- Coordinate with Architects and Engineers: Collaborate with Data Architects and Engineering teams to design logical and physical data models that meet business objectives and support scalable data products.
- Translate Business Needs into Technical Requirements: Understand consumer requirements and map them to available data sources, ensuring alignment between business needs and technical feasibility. Create clear, actionable specifications for engineering teams.
- Drive Delivery & Validate Quality: Oversee implementation by providing detailed functional specifications and acceptance criteria, and actively participate in functional testing and validation of data products to ensure they meet business requirements and quality standards.
- Streamline Business Analysis Processes: Define and implement best practices for gathering, documenting, and validating requirements for data products, continuously improving efficiency and consistency.
- Data modelling: experienced in designing and integrating enterprise-wide data models from diverse source systems and creating scalable, user-friendly models

You & your talent
- At least 6 years’ experience as a business analyst, of which at least 3 years with data modelling (Data Vault, Dimensional modelling) and historical data.
- Ability to work in a complex organization, bridging multiple teams and systems.
- Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst in a data-driven environment (data engineering, analytics, or BI).
- Strong understanding of data modelling, data pipelines, and data product lifecycle.
- Familiarity with SQL & data warehousing concepts
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies and experience in writing user stories and acceptance criteria.
