We are looking for a Data Analyst who can dig into Revolut's complex databases, identify root causes, and design data-driven solutions. You will build and maintain trusted datasets for reporting, validate data accuracy across source systems, and own data mapping, transformation logic, scheduling and monitoring. You will collaborate with Product Engineering, DevOps/SRE, and Data teams to unblock ETL delivery, define metrics, and create scalable, audit-ready data products. The role emphasizes data governance, lineage, and high data quality to support product decisions and compliance.

About the role
Our Data Science team solves complex problems with smart, practical solutions. Data Scientists and Analysts work directly with product teams to uncover insights, guide decisions, and improve how customers experience Revolut. They do this by delivering smart, scalable solutions that move the business forward.
We’re looking for a Data Analyst who can dig into our complex databases, look for the root cause of a problem, and design their own solutions by writing codes to implement them.

What you'll be doing
- Building and maintaining trusted datasets for reporting and analytics, working across multiple source systems and owners
- Supporting database sharding and data residency programme
- Validating data accuracy between source systems and replicated datasets, and investigating discrepancies
- Owning the delivery around requirements, data mapping, transformation logic, scheduling, monitoring, and fixes
- Defining, implementing, and documenting business metrics with clear lineage so reporting is consistent and audit-ready
- Creating and maintaining new aggregated views and tables to simplify data querying
- Coordinating across Product Engineering, DevOps/SRE, and Data to unblock ETL delivery, manage dependencies, and ensure pipelines meet reliability and data quality expectations
- Maintaining documentation and governance, such as dataset specs, metric definitions, lineage, access classification, and change notes
- Partnering with stakeholders to turn questions into data products that are audit-ready and scalable
What you'll need
- 5+ years of experience in an analytical role, creating impactful data-driven solutions
- A solid background/education in a quantitative discipline
- Great skills with Python, SQL, or other programming languages
- Experience with financial services datasets (payments, ledger, reconciliations, fraud/risk, regulatory reporting).
- Demonstrated experience implementing data quality controls and reconciliation checks for replicated or high-stakes datasets
- Evidence of exceptional mathematical and statistics knowledge
Nice to have
- An advanced degree in a core STEM subject
- Knowledge of data governance practices (sensitivity classification, access controls, ownership models)
- Familiarity with orchestration and transformation tooling (Airflow or similar)
- Experience building dashboards in Looker
