Lead Data Expert will design, implement and maintain high-quality Data Warehouse and reporting solutions in a collaborative IT/business environment. The role requires 7+ years of experience delivering data warehouse solutions on SQL Server, strong data modelling skills (Kimball/Data Vault 2.0), and experience with automation tools. The candidate should be proficient in SQL and NoSQL databases, MSBI (SSIS/SSRS/Power BI), and have working knowledge of Power BI and the Microsoft SQL Server platform, plus Azure/cloud-based data platforms. This is a permanent contract based in Bangalore, India, at SG Global Solution Centre.
7+ years' experience implementing and maintaining high quality Datawarehouse and reporting solutions (adhering to best practices, performant, maintainable and scalable), contributing to the full implementation lifecycle of the platform, in a collaborative environment (with business and IT stakeholders)<\/p>
- experience delivering data warehouses solutions on SQL Server platform.<\/li><\/ul>
- Data Modelling experience either dimensional or data vault 2.0.<\/li><\/ul>
- Experience with automation tools.<\/li><\/ul>Profile required
- Proficient in database technologies both SQL and NoSQL (Oracle, SQL etc<\/li><\/ul>
- Proficient in Datawarehouse modelling (Kimball, relational or similar) and programming languages such as Python.<\/li><\/ul>
- Proficient in using Datawarehouse, MSBI technologies and its libraries related Frameworks (SSIS\/SSRS\/PowerBI etc.). Working Knowledge of PowerBI and the Microsoft SQL Server platform.<\/li><\/ul>
- Experience with Azure and Cloud-based data platforms.<\/li><\/ul>
